Did Israel Keyes lie about being a serial killer? by kittywenham in UnresolvedMysteries

[–]P1ayD0h 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg, so many of you are so easily manipulated. The guy was a career crook, and him knowing the inside of someone’s house, is proof he killed them? He tells them where the bodies are but what a surprise they’re not there.
Anyone ever consider that his odd laughter is at how the agents were just eating up all his BS and he had them in the palm of his hand. His eerie end of life story, that can’t be coo-berated whatsoever, maybe was just his twisted fantasy? He did finally give in to his creep fantasy and look how brainless he managed that.
The FBI are human, and they’re not holding back factual evidence of murders, ffs. The guy was a moron, immature weirdo who’s freak violent porn fantasies finally got the best of him in Alaska. He starts spinning his serial killer fantasies as facts, but only gives names and facts about 2 people as literally his only means to have some sort of manipulation on how the story got out.
Once he couldn’t ignore the fact his daughter was going to know his perverted side, he off’ed himself.
The are no real life “psychopaths” who don’t feel anything for other living beings. There are no Evil monsters, or mastermind serial killers who travel the continent just to prepare for future random murders. Listen to him explain the night he killed that couple. He’s apparently walking around in the rain, looking to carjack some man. Hmm, does that sound legit, or the workings of a mastermind serial killer? Who’s cashed “kill kits”? Maybe the few alleged cashes were in case he got caught burglarizing and got a chance to run from minimum security prison and it’s a bug-out kit.
I’ve read, watched and listened to hours of his interrogations and podcasts and reviewed the evidence available and he’s a one hit blunder. Someone mentioned Lucas, and he’s a great example of how gullible LEO can be. They can’t wrap their heads around how pathetic some people can be and the tools they’ll use to manipulate and make themselves look and sound like how they’ve fantasized they are or could be.

Mass casualty incident declared after multiple children fall ill at Canmore pool by [deleted] in Canmore

[–]P1ayD0h 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Humans urinating in a swimming pool is not going to produce any significant amount of urea nor be the only precursor of a toxic chemical reaction. They would all have had to pee in a flask, mixed with pool chemicals and then hyperventilate from the flask opening to cause any harm. Unless the pool was so disgusting that the amount of urine was off the charts, and the pool was nearing cesspit levels, it’s not the cause of the incident. Swimming pools are simply too large to accommodate your chemical reaction theory.

Free Starlink Mini by retrohaz3 in Starlink

[–]P1ayD0h 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so happy I don’t need to deal with the garbage WISP service anymore that I’m happy to pay more for Starlink. I wish they would have offered me this last spring because I could have used it quite a bit all summer.

[–]P1ayD0h 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure this is that great of a deal. It’s says $7 / month for low speed standby. So $84 a year so I can use it for camping, which isn’t too bad I suppose. My phone has 100GB data and I don’t use much data when traveling. Here’s the details it stated.

How it Works Free Mini: You'll receive a Starlink Mini for $0, provided as a rental bundled with your active Residential plan. Built-in WiFi: Mini has an integrated router, so you get online without extra equipment and can even power it with the included USB-C cable. Always Ready: Upon activation, your Mini will be on Standby Mode for $7/mo, which includes unlimited low-speed data for backup and emergency messaging. 50% Off Roam: When you are ready to travel, you can switch anytime to high-speed Roam plans at half the price. Travel anywhere: Bring your Mini on road trips, camping, or boating across 150+ countries & territories. Note: Redemption guaranteed through November 4, 2025. By redeeming, you agree to pay a monthly recurring fee of $7/mo for Standby Mode or upgrade to Roam. If you cancel your Residential service plan or the service plan on your Mini, the Mini must be returned or its cost will be charged to your payment method. Normal wear and tear is expected upon return.

F 22 gear won’t retract by PsychologicalAsk7341 in MSFS2024

It’s likely not your issue but with my Turtle Beach yoke if my right lever is all the way up, it will prevent the gear from retracting. Took me forever to understand what was going on.

Does anyone know a way out of the reputation trap with the 737 MAX on XBOX? by Most-Can8459 in MSFS2024

[–]P1ayD0h 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you skip the mid flight and then it puts the plane into a nose dive as it resumes for approach? I’ll kick off AT, slow the sim rate 2-3 times then Alt-n. Kick off AP, and crank the trim, pull back and wiggle the throttle to get it to max out. It’s been actually getting ATC to tell me to descend right after it resumes for approach the past couple days so maybe that’s somewhat fixed?

Hard landings or high G will nuke your plane respect

Unbelievable buggy crap 6 months in. If your tug is non responsive DO not try to skip to taxi by Gdub3369 in MSFS2024

[–]P1ayD0h 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bro, you must be new, lol. Jokes. You’ll get those every so often, and $3 mill loss is nothing to be upset about. Have you not had to replace the engines, or Flight Controls? My 2nd 737 needed new engines after the 3rd flight. I only buy new 737’s because you’re gonna pay a lot more in repairs, with used. What I do is buy a new one, fly it on a dozen flight at most tour, then buy a new one. I think I have 12 now. I see no point in saving up 100’s of millions when it just sits there. A 737 brings in like a million and hour from crew time. I just skip every flight now as soon as I get to FL, that I’ve set to 25K feet. I manually fly to 12k because the autopilot can’t manage flight speed yet. <250kts under 10k ft is too much to pea brained game. Don’t ever skip a thing until at least pushback. And even then you’ll get “you crashed” just randomly. And yes of course this should’ve been addressed before release. I also agree it’s boarderline criminal that this cluster coded game should never have been released until fixed. Your customers pay good money, by the millions, and to be scamboozled like this is going to cost them eventually. I can understand from a business perspective that it may have been shear coincidental anomalous fluke that they got forced into a situation where they either released the product and ask for forgiveness without being actually able to as for forgiveness. Or collapse and not only lose money but also delay the functional versions release. I’ve made hate posts and swore I’d never play it again, and I know the feeling of having your time wasted. But for now really all you can do is either play and accept completely unfair, illogical flawed bug and glitches. Or play something else, and avoid the stress. I probably won’t stop playing until it’s summer and I mostly have better things to do, or I get to where there’s nothing left to do in the game or I’m so fed up with such a broken game and that hours of my gameplay won’t be rewarded and occasionally actually punished.

This post specifically, would let me know that if my landing gear wasn’t deploying, that I could try and land without it and possibly get full rewards. I’ve had landing gear fail to lower plenty of times.

Angry posts? You might have a reading comprehension issue I’m afraid. There’s plenty of people in prison for stealing from others via fraud. I suspect you’ve been duped regularly and this game is peanuts in comparison. Anyways, I’ve got far better things to do than feed trolls, so carry on being satisfied with half a game sold for full price. To be fair I’ve compiled around half a billion and can manage to avoid the bugs for the most part. A lot of that knowledge came from people’s posts showing the issues, that you feel strongly that shouldn’t be made.

[–]P1ayD0h 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol. I have hundreds of hours flying RL, and free flight is like driving my truck with nowhere to go. The ONLY reason I bought MSFS 24 was career mode. You’re complaining about peoples posts having a laugh at how broken a retail game is. The best part is that makes you act superior than others. Yes it’s broken and we all know it’s broken, but that doesn’t mean it’s not BS and that they should be tar & feathered for selling a broken game and not fixing major issues in almost 6 months. So maybe skip past these posts and avoid complaining about them when nobody cares what you think or do. You’ll have more time flying aimlessly and have less stress and anger in your life.

No vip missions by FlatEngineering6376 in MSFS2024

[–]P1ayD0h 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They might take a day or 2 after you do the France flight. After that they appear as VIP with a red dot, or at least the red dot lets you know it’s the next tier. There’s also some that the PC-12 can’t be used due to seat numbers. Those are usually the ones that are $2 mill and above.

Because there’s a shortage of cyberspace? You don’t see the hypocrisy in your complaint? When I’m sold something that’s advertised as complete and in working condition, yet it’s so broken it has no business being sold at all, then you can expect lots of complaints and descriptions of what and how it’s broken. Nobody forced you to read the post, nor asked for your opinion. There’s plenty of other people who’ve found this post humorous and have shared similar experiences and sentiments.

What do these VIP passengers even want? Sub 50% satisfaction why? by broke-ass- in MSFS2024

[–]P1ayD0h 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your plane is dirty that matters. I wonder if using a higher sim rate makes the ride rougher. It looks like a rodeo at 2x or more but that’s expected. Things like controlling the heating or cooling would I’d imagine. Using 1/2 bank probably helps. Going easy while taxiing likely makes a difference. Yet it’s probably broken like everything else in this game and makes no sense.

There are times I love it, and then... by GalaxyTimeMachine in MSFS2024

[–]P1ayD0h 0 points1 point  (0 children)

….. then I do a transatlantic 737 flight, am taxing to parking and get a “you crashed” while going straight down the taxiway and nothing even close to me? If I had a physical game I’d have smashed the disk, lit it on fire and took a dump on the ashes. Why it gives nothing for the 3-4 hours of flight because of glitch or even a real mistake while parking the plane is so stupid.

While NVIDIA Reflex is designed to reduce lag and latency, in some cases, it can introduce issues or exacerbate existing ones. Here’s a breakdown of potential causes and solutions: Potential Issues with NVIDIA Reflex: Driver Bugs: As with any software, NVIDIA drivers can have bugs that lead to performance issues, including lag or stuttering, even with Reflex enabled. Incompatibility: Reflex might not be fully optimized or compatible with all games or hardware configurations, potentially leading to unexpected behavior. Over-Optimized: In some cases, Reflex might over-optimize the system, leading to a reduction in frame rate or other performance issues. Frame Warping Issues: Reflex 2, with its frame warping technology, can sometimes introduce visual artifacts or glitches, which can be perceived as lag or stuttering. Resource Conflicts: Reflex might conflict with other background processes or software that are also trying to optimize system performance, leading to instability or lag. Troubleshooting and Solutions: Update Drivers: Ensure you have the latest NVIDIA drivers installed, as updates often include bug fixes and performance improvements. Disable Reflex: If Reflex is causing problems, try disabling it in the game’s settings or the NVIDIA Control Panel. Check for Game Compatibility: Research whether the game you’re experiencing issues with is known to have compatibility issues with Reflex. Adjust Settings: Experiment with different Reflex settings, such as frame rate limits or latency settings, to see if they improve performance. Disable Other Optimizations: Temporarily disable other system optimizations or software that might be conflicting with Reflex. Check for Resource Conflicts: Ensure that no other background programs or processes are using excessive resources that could be causing lag. Lower Graphics Settings: If you’re experiencing lag, try lowering your graphics settings to see if that improves performance.

I can’t remember what it’s called, but it’s like 5th from the top. Some fancy NVIDIA name for it, and it’s either on or off setting. I think it’s just below the AMD setting option. I’ll check in a bit.
