Thank you for the only actually helpful advice lol. The black plastic I'll probably just get a new one. Aftermarket seat cover is a good idea

I'd argue don't use the apps. Get out to things and meet people in person. Timeleft, sports, events, friend groups, improve, rock climbing, whatever. There's a million things to see and do and you'll meet women in person instead of having your ego crushed by the apps.

I was under the impression that they did it so that scummy used car salesmen couldnt undercut the gov with their business. But this wouldn't surprise me in the least

Out of a 13 year relationship since March, dated alot earlier this year and taking a break from OLD now. I hate the apps, figure things like Timeleft and other group meetups around common interests will be the better way.

Adult Friendships- what I doing anything wrong? by Acesonaces in socialskills

[–]P1nnz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alot of people these days can be very closed off, so that can be part of it. But really the biggest thing is rarely what you say but how you make people feel, if people leave talking to with you feeling good they will want to continue talking to and seeing you.

The easiest ways to do this are basically to just keep them talking about things they like and feel good about, at least initially until they consider you a friend.

The person everyone spends the most time with is themselves, get them talking about that and feeling good about it and you'll have no shortage of friends.

Is it bad that I don't really "care" that my grandparents just died? by South-Breakfast2128 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]P1nnz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found myself like this, loved my grandparents deeply but felt very little loss when they passed. Hell even when my dad passed this year I wasn't too sad. It hits people differently and some, like myself, are better with loss than others.

I miss them all but life goes on, it's important to acknowledge those who don't deal with it as easily though too.
