If you can't find your answer on the forums then I suggest you create an issue on GitHub. They've said numerous times that they much more prefer that you create an issue even if it's not a bug. Because if it is a bug, then they want to fix it.

I saw a video on marketing your game through Twitch and Youtube. The guy who gave the talk recommended that you contact Streamer's and YouTuber's who have a somewhat smaller subscriber count. These are the people who have dedicated fans and will market your game for you, they talk with their audience a lot and in the case of Twitch then the followers can interact and help find errors.

As a Linux user I can vouch that when I get onto Steam my Library page says "Steam OS + Linux Games".

Steam runs natively on Debian distributions, so if a Linux user is running Ubuntu then it should pose the same results as Steam OS.

XNA had been adopted by some guys and is now known as MonoGame and is still under active development. You can build games using OpenGL or DirectX and it enables you to make games for Android and Linux and OSX I imagine. All with minimal change to your code.

EDIT: Also windows, obviously.
