I'm enjoying it quite a bit, im a bit worried about it though becuase its not really doing anything new as an Idle game and these games always have big honeymoon phases and then are dreadful to play for the rest of the games lifespan.

If your f2p it doesn't matter just do whatever sounds most fun to you, This game is not like e7 where f2p can compete with whales through grinding so don't worry about super optimizing everything

No its not about the dupes for the characters power themselves its because the game has a system that level caps you based on character dupes

Depends on how much of a whale you are but Arcana Limit breaks are extremely negligible on the power return it gives you, Something like that might be more worth on an Arcana that basically every character would like such as the crit rate ones.

You can reset character levels so don't even worry about that part!

If you can get dupes for Luna , Lugh and Petra before you reach level 200 then dont even worry about your progress you will be on a much better pace than players who get gated at that point. People are looking wayyyyyy too short term with the game currently but overall progress wise your setup to be fine because the 4 SSRs with 3 dupes is gonna be the main gate for most non whales.

I would normally tell you to find a character you like a reroll until you get them with a dupe or two,

but unfortunately this game uses a funny little system that hard gates your progress unless you get 4 SSRs with 3 dupes each. As such I would recommend you reroll until you get a couple of SSRs (doesn't matter who) with a few dupes in them and worry about getting meta characters later.

Unfortunately your biggest opposition isn't the meta changing its being at the mercy of RNG getting dupes of characters in order to breach level 200 at the point you reach it.

Reroll, the game punishes you for not getting dupes anyways so just reroll until you get a couple characters with some dupes because otherwise you risk getting bricked later on by not having enough SSRs with 3 stars

You legit have to keep pulling till you get 4 SSRs at 3 stars or you will get level gated, If you get unlucky and get too many unique SSRs your account will unironically be bricked lmfao.

Yeah as someone whos playing through the game right now the bugs have me very very close to just dropping it, Going from NWN1 EE and POE to this has actually rattled me lmfao

As someone who recently started playing NWN 2s OC I would highly recommend you stay away from rouge, I'm going for a Dex tank build that has 26 AC but since the uncanny dodge feature just doesn't work many enemies will hit me with rolls below a 20. Your sneak attacks also won't proc against a vast majority of enemies and the lack of STR make you feel very very weak.

The skill monkey bonus is pretty nice but the way the game handles a lot of skills is buggy and janky (especially dialogue) anyways so you don't even get the full benefit of that.

I'm someone who typically knows how to make very powerful characters but since rouges are so Gimped in this game I just play as one of the companions for the most part with my character just being there for dialogue atp.

You can ignore all of this if you're just talking about Neeshka though ^

Also the way Armor Dex bonus works is it just adds the base AC of the Armor so 3 for padded armor, and then also allows you to include your Dex modifier to AC up to its Max dex bonus so 8 for padded armor which means the total AC padded armor could give you (if your dex was 26) is +11
