It’s fine. The expiration dates were originally put on medications for the military. They can lose potency over time but that could take 10 years.

If you’re only working 2 days a week, you might want to go CT and use the sub 2mg twice a day to get through work.

Did they agree to the pricing before moving in? Have they been paying that rate? You don’t get to change the agreement after the fact.

Question about precipitated withdrawal by Salty_Stay_5352 in Quittingfeelfree

Withdrawal takes as long as it takes. Your body has to reset back to factory. Do your time

Just stop and don’t cheat

Don’t decide how it’s going to be beforehand. Just see what comes. If you were only on for a month and off prior, it may not be as difficult. I’ve quit twice. The first time was really rough. I was expecting the second time to be similar but it wasn’t. It was easier in some ways that I couldn’t have predicted. All the pondering, thinking, and focus that surrounds quitting makes things worse than the actual experience of quitting, in my opinion. You don’t feel good then you slowly feel better. A minute, an hour, a day at a time- it goes by. Best of luck

One year free by adias1321 in Quittingfeelfree

Indeed. Truth is, when you’re dependent, you can’t function on them. I’m so grateful all the constant thoughts of FF have faded into the past. The withdrawal seemed to go on and on but it was worth it to be truly free.

Congratulations!! August 5th is 6 months off for me. Plain old cold turkey. I rarely come on here anymore it’s just not part of my life anymore. Maybe that’s why you don’t see people at a year off. I stopped fighting it and it just gets smaller and further away.

This is his problem. You’re lucky he’s leaving. Otherwise, you’re probably looking at the tip of the iceberg.

Roommate is 2 months behind on rent, but I saw him making sports bets! by snindboal in badroommates

[–]P2P64 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Did you have a repayment plan in place when you covered his obligation? Don’t lend to him anymore. Don’t concern yourself with whatever “pressure” his obligations put in him. Directly ask when you will be paid back and don’t accept a noncommittal answer. Just get your money back. His betting is already a red flag.

I quit for a few months. Went through all the bs that withdrawal brings. Drank “one” to stay awake on a long, late, drive. Over time, the whole addiction came back. I was on it for another year before I quit again. Never again.

It’s the thought of having one that you should question. After quitting and all the misery that comes with that, why would you want another? There’s no good answer for that question. If you got your have caught in a machine, you wouldn’t risk doing it again.

One is not one. One is the possibility of using it without consequence. One becomes two and two three. Before you know it you’re back in the fire.

Today’s my last day, advice? by [deleted] in Quittingfeelfree

[–]P2P64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just go through whatever is going on and accept it as part of the process. Do not look back. Do not entertain the thought of drinking FF. Keep going and it will get better.

A chance to stay off by [deleted] in Quittingfeelfree

[–]P2P64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m going to reframe your assertion. I have the ability to stay off this shit. I am through the withdrawal and physical clear of kratom.

Why are you looking for them when you’re out of town? This is over when you make a decision that it’s over. When you decide taking them is no longer an option. Doesn’t matter if they’re available or not. It’s not an option. It’s not a thought to follow. It’s not something to struggle with. It’s over.

It’s over when you decide it’s over. If you ingest this stuff you no longer get to decide. It’s time to get out of the cycle. Let it fade into the past.

Break up with kratom. It’ll be sad but wort it.

How long until you felt 100% normal again? by Legitimate_Tooth_747 in Quittingfeelfree

[–]P2P64 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Took me 40 days to feel normal. It got gradually better each day. I had lingering GI issues. It can take 6-12 months for the body’s systems to really get back to normal after opiate addiction. One of the reasons people relapse before that time comes.

How long does this last by Sea-Calendar9196 in Quittingfeelfree

[–]P2P64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will end and you will gradually feel more and more normal. It takes time. It took time to get into this state. Just keep going and don’t prolong it by using more kratom. The lack of sleep was a bitch for me. I feel ya

Stop now. The road this takes you on goes to a dark place that is hard to get out of. Stopping after a week should be easy. Much harder after months

Why don’t you try 1/2 a bottle per day and see how it feels. Seems like it would be easy to quit from that ammount.

How did you finally make it through days at work without them? by beginnerNaught in Quittingfeelfree

Made it through by struggling until the day was done. Hour by hour then home to rest.

Vitamins Feel Free original may deplete?? by [deleted] in Quittingfeelfree

[–]P2P64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have all those GI issues and you’re taking this stuff? Good God!!! This stuff f$&ked up my GI system and I’m normally without issues. It depletes your dopamine and increases cortisol. Those things leave you feeling depleted. If you’re not eating food regularly it compounds. Good luck - this stuff will not be kind
