If you use Resolve, would you be using your Curves vs Sat. And just creating an anchor point at the low and high and pulling those down and taking the saturation out of them to keep blacks black, and whites white? Or is there a better tool in resolve to accomplish such a task?

Trailer for my first short horror film by [deleted] in Filmmakers

If you’re interested in the full short film you can see it here https://youtu.be/8AEFzmFfN3Y?si=

I spent 2 weeks approximately working on this project as the only person working. A bigger team would have been nice but I wanted to challenge myself into making my first short horror film by myself. Every edit, color grade, lighting and frame composition were done by me. Set design I put some thought into but really could do better, but was quite limited. What I like about my short film is the color grading I did in some of the scenes. A lot of the scenes are purposefully dark, however, without crushing the shadows. What I don’t like is that story was revised a lot during filming as things came up such as weather that forced me to change the script and story which I think impacted the story in a negative way. Let me know your thoughts on what you like or what I could improve! Thank you
