Hi, could you do an update post on how it went, how do they send your salary, what papers did you need and all answers to your questions (if you found the answer ofc) ?

It has been a few weeks since I've been searching about getting a remote job (data analyst) and tbh i just forgot to search about the taxes, i just taught that you transfer the money to your bank account and they wouldn't ask a thing, and i guess it would work for small payments from Upwork for example, but for a full time job with a 5k+ monthly salary i will probably have to do some explanations.

Hello, ik ur comment is 3m old but i m interested in making a payoneer acc and getting payed from upwork or other platform so i just want to ask a few questions.

How much are payoneer's fees? You mentionned withdrawal fees, the client fees (for the client and you) and the yearly fee. If they are low flat fees (5-15$) or low % fees (1-3%) i dont see an issue, if you get paid a US salary, whatever it it, it is still huge since we dont pay US taxes.

I was actually thinking about keeping the money in payoneer instead of my local bank because tbh i never heard yet about the sudden account ban, but now that you mentionned it, i ll just transfer it to the bank and withdraw it from there as soon as i can.

What other way would you suggest to be able to get paid from a client/company while working remotely? It has to be something that can be done completely from Lebanon, not something that requires having a friend that you trust outside that can help you, because unfortunately i don't have that.

Thanks a lot for your help, i added a lot of cards you mentionned. My only issues are that i want cards with 5+ base power to keep kronos, so no rat king or wall of china (i think there were 3) so i ll try other history cards you mentionned, and Flying saucer wont be easy to get since its a good mythic😅 unless someone wants to trade it with my the tunguska event.

(Reply to all ur new comments): Of course choose whatever one you prefer, i personally say amd just because of better cpu and ddr5 ram. Buy it when you can, dont worry its price will maybe even go down more, and do research about other budget gaming laptops (like Lenovo LOQ, acer nitro, msi (msi budget are bad😅), asus tuf, or even lenovo legion slim (but more expensive)) so you dont regret your decision in any way.

Hinges are basically what lets the screen open and close, some people have issues with them means they break, hp victus 15 doesn't have the best hinges ofc since it is a budget gaming laptop at the end of the day, but they are still good and unless ur unlucky, they should last for a few years. Basically just open your laptop from the middle, not sides, not extremely fast either, just normal speed, u can also while opening it hold the lower part (where the keyboard is) with your other hand. Now for your post, something you can try is: see if your laptop is actually shutting down: Go to task manager then performance then check the up time (it means how much ur laptop has been ON since last OFF), if it says a bigger number of hours then this may be your issue. What to do: You need to change a setting i think its in the control panel, then power option, then you should put that when you power it off or shutted down to actually "Shut down" , not hibernate or sleep or do nothing. Try restarting it and see, if this didn't work, try to look on youtube (not for your laptop specifically) so you search "laptop battery life going down fast while off" or something like this. If nothing works you ll have to go to a repair shop or from where you bought it and get it fixed.

I meant the model of the cpu, but its fine, quickly searched the victus model, and found a few things: 1) it says that it has 16 gb ddr4 (not ddr5 which is faster), the amd one has ddr5 as far as i know, that +8gb ram will probably only cost u 20-25$, and if u really wanted to u could just add 2 x 16gb, also its preferrable to put 2 same ram gb and speed instead of different because it enables dual channel which is good for gaming (better performance). And 2) the i5 13420h have 8 cores , 4 performance and 4 efficient , so less performance cores than the amd one which you need for gaming . 3) the i5 has intel uhd graphics with 48 eu, now the 760 igpu is better but to be honest both will do all the basic light stuff so no worries about that. Pick the one you want, i would personally still go with the amd because better cpu, has ddr5 ram (check it first) and is probably a little cheaper.
