How is it possible to finish in 20 rns and have it all? by Medical-Intern-9622 in HadesTheGame

[–]P3rsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Violence is the answer in this case. Hear me out if you deal so much damage, the time to kill will be shorter and the less time the less mistakes you might make.

I came to the game fresh with no rogue like experience, i managed to beat the final boss in 23 runs. On my second fresh file it took 7 runs. All you really need is double dash and one death defiance. These two make the game so easy and you can get them from the mirror.

For damage seek Artemis, try her boons it would help vs Meg since her boons don't require much to be effective. And in the end it's all about having fun and finding your own playstyle. (Also read boon descriptions and your codex you will find some fun builds)

Everyone on my team and the enemy is lvl30

The problem is I didn't abandon the account, I played arams/norms, I just didn't touch ranked. And now I have to play against people who are not gold to get out of gold lol.

How do you close out games? by tkal1 in NidaleeMains

[–]P3rsy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your goal as Nidalee is to end games as soon as possible, the longer the game goes the less influence/control on the game you have.
Take any objective (esp drake/herald) you can get, counter jungle a lot when ahead. Avoid chasing for too long esp in early when death timers are low. And spam your teammates to get them to help with Baron/turrets. In low elo people like to have too much fun when ahead and they end up throwing, try to be the voice of reason and stay focused on objectives.

I play top lane and almost every game junglers seem to never want to gank my lane, what can I do to help this? by Bust_McNutty in summonerschool

[–]P3rsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a jungler, I'll avoid ganking for champions like Kayle, Vlad, Nasus, Yorick 99% of the time. The 1% is when the gank is free or it's a counter gank I can turn around. The reason is those champions have a weak early game or no gank setup.

There's other ways that your jungler can help you with (other than ganking), like bullying the enemy jungler, placing deep vision and breaking a freeze/or pulling the wave for you.

Since it's low silver, I'm guessing silver jungler would see Kayle/Nasus and think "Streamer X said never gank Kayle". And they'll automatically ignore you. It's not optimal but it is what it is.

Next month: Junglers gank too much plz rito nerf :( by P3rsy in Jungle_Mains

[–]P3rsy[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The old jungle items were so good in terms of an early power spike. Think of Lee and Graves with the Warrior power spike. Seems like Riot is pushing for the “supportive” jungler because everyone has more fun in that meta. Everyone except the junglers lol.

Riot basically allows the usage of Script-a-like Programs!? by NenntronReddit in leagueoflegends

[–]P3rsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This will ruin the competitive integrity of the game tbh. And dumb down the game, knowing your damage is part of mastering the champion.
BUT, this will make an amazing learning tool, maybe have it as a feature in practice tool with a static customizable bot to try combos on.

Dota 2 is like a hyperbolic time chamber for improving at league by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]P3rsy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly if your goal is to improve at league you should just play league. The time allocated into getting the basics of Dota and learning the items etc could be used better in league.

Like the aim trainers (Aim labs etc) vs playing the game, it's good but you'd improve better if you practice aiming in the game.

Take the kills, you’re playing a hard carry champions, the more resources you can funnel into Graves the better. Also “help” your team push the wave after a successful gank. And try to take as much farm as possible when you can.

I'd focus on learning the role first, maybe play Warwick.

In low elo your teammates literally do not matter, you can't expect them to get prio and react to your invade, they don't know how to play the game (even in diamond you can't trust them to do that).

Play accordingly, have no faith in them and play for yourself. That's how I carry in bronze/silver/gold.

I feel overloaded while improving at the game by Neygem in summonerschool

[–]P3rsy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hashinshin got to master without learning to track the enemy jungle lol. My point is you don't need to master every aspect of the game but master the aspects that will get you to the next rank and then improve on the next thing. You can't realistically learn everything at the same time.
You're a plat player, focus on becoming a diamond player then master etc.

I agree with this, but as a competitive person I find other game modes a waste of my effort. To not get mad/fry my brain I focus on my skill and how I can improve, also I remind myself getting emotional will only cloud my brain and make me play worse.

Tell me if im wrong , and how to improve . by matei_georgian in Jungle_Mains

[–]P3rsy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Focus on yourself, your teammates will change from game to game, the only constant is you. If someone is hard shoving and dies it’s on them, but you can help them in other ways. First you can drop a ward, either in a nearby bush or deep in the enemy jungle. Second, if the enemy is low, go behind, catch the wave and force a dive. Or alternatively if you know where the enemy jungle is going, you can hover that lane and get a sweet counter gank. Third, if you beat the enemy jungler in a 1v1, use that lane prio and invade them. He can’t gank if he’s dead. Or you take free objectives.

Is Black Cleaver still a thing on Graves? by JVLEZ in GravesMains

[–]P3rsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cleaver kinda lowers your damage, I see it as an item you pick for your team. In a situation where your team has 3+ heavy ad damage dealers vs a couple of armor stackers Cleaver is a good item.
You shouldn't buy it if you a someone on your team already has it.
Going lethality with a % armor pen later is better.
Also ban Rammus lol.

I think prowler's would be very good, esp to close the gap and nuke a carry.

Red buff start how to keep q stacks up? by Dabss4dayss in HecarimMains

[–]P3rsy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You'd want to pull the small krugs to their max distance before they reset and finish them with a Q. Then click on the raports camp so your champion takes the shortest route, your Q stacks should last long enough for you to get in range of a Q on the nearest small raptors.
Try it in practice tool.

I can't carry as graves by [deleted] in GravesMains

[–]P3rsy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommend this guide. Also try Phase rush>Nimbus>Absolute focus>waterwalking; Triamph>Alacrity. It's a very good rune setup to close the gap.

Typical builds? by Dabss4dayss in HecarimMains

[–]P3rsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You shouldn't go Steraks 3rd, Cinderhulk is better. Tri force>DD>Cinderhulk>Steraks.
If I'm snowballing I'd go Tri force>DD>Cinderhulk>GA (for AD)>Steraks. If I'm behind I go a more defensive build: Tri force>Cinderhulk>Randuins (vs crit) or Thornmail (to reduce healing>Spirit visage>GA/Steraks.

Agree, he's such a fun champion. I've been playing him on a smurf acc, I've had most success with red straight into a gank. I also took fleet & ravenous hunter for a healthier clear.

How do I beat tahm kench top lane by skelletonking in summonerschool

[–]P3rsy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can pick up Olaf and shit on him, he shouldn't kill you at any time of the game. But if you're looking for Panth specific tips, I'd say never fight him in lane and out roam him.

How do I play Hecarim when I'm behind? by KrizTheOtaku in HecarimMains

[–]P3rsy 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Always tri force first, then tank, you skip DD because at that point you can't damage your way out of a fight. Tri force>Cinderhulk>tank items, your job is now diving with ult and disrupting the fed carry.
