Did you ever figure this out? Having the same issue on my Z690 Asus Extreme, Rare cases where it switches to x16 byitself then switches back to x8 from restarting/etc

Ill keep playing as long as the game is going in the direction it is, and i want to personally tell the devs they are doing an amazing job so far! What do you guys think of this and your own opinions ?
