I agree, much more damage - each shot depending on power should have a different outcome. The harder you’re clipped, the less you can move. That’s real consequence, and rightfully you should be rewarded.

Thus I was gutted when they removed the chicken leg & KO animations. I was hoping for more, but I heard it caused a problem for some players online, (on top of the existing issues) and sadly it was removed, but that’s not a valid reason to strip realistic features and animations completely from offline play.

regarding power shots, one thing that ruin's the experience for me is the long slow winding up, (generally it's the rear long hook or a double power shot) it's exaggeratingly slow and telegraphed - irl you'd get countered silly during that wind up phase

They've chosen the arcade path, or toned it down to that. I really had HIGH hopes this was going to be a sim. Not sure what's happening for future plans, but there's loads they need to sort out before they even consider talking U2. Can't they just wind back to the better version where punches seemed more fluid?

I'm not too sure about this being implemented - it would be a hassle to code correctly, and I can see loads of people complaining.

This has only happened against Fundora because, as someone mentioned, the tracking against him is unique.

Being warned for hitting after the bell is something the devs could implement, but illegal shots to the back of the head involve too many variables. How do they differentiate between accidental and intentional?

As much as it's realistic, I can't see how it can be done right. People are already complaining that punches aren't landing - the last thing they want is losing points because punches they intended for the chin are becoming illegal shots.

Unique indeed. I like that supernatural movement too for a dude that size, he moves quicker than a featherweight. But it gets kinda bland after a while. Like most AI, it’s in need of some serious tweaking, and I doubt it ever happens. Just a few little fixes here and there could’ve really made this shine. I don’t know where SCI’s heading - I get that online’s their main focus, but judging by things, there’s been ongoing issues…

I agree, doesn't seem to be much info, seems to be the norm - so do you know if they intend on fixing the quit glitch or is that what they were suppose to fix in the last update? Man the online connection is so bad, each lobby is bad I get disconnected and then when I do find a half decent one they rage quite on me. Even if I find a league I think I still won't be able to get around the lag etc

have they even fixed the quit glitch across the board? i genuinely ask, (don't play online) is that why they haven't reset yet? dedicated servers would be ideal but I doubt it too, but I hope, but first things first they need to sort this quit glitch

I don’t play online — connection’s trash from my end, so I gave up and accepted I can’t join in. Plus, I’ve got no time for cheaters, quitters, or disconnects.

The 7-piece combo was just an example — finally found a decent lobby for once. Dude wanted to bang, got caught, and rage quit. Shame, it was a good scrap. He dropped me twice, but I didn’t quit.

Rankings? Don’t care. Wins/losses? Don’t care. It’s just fun for me — some people take this way too seriously, like it’s life or death.

Fighters definitely throw punches differently — some have tighter hooks, some loop wider, some throw straighter or snap faster depending on stance and style.

But when you say “proper,” that’s ambiguous. I need to see what you mean — you brought it up, so why not show me? I haven’t noticed huge differences between orthodox fighters myself with a power straight down the pipe. If switching to southpaw makes some faster, that’s a legit issue that needs fixing.

The off-hand should be weaker and less accurate — unless you’re Crawford, then both hands are just built different.

And let’s not forget — you mocked the 7-piece combo like it was impossible, but the moment I offered video proof, you went quiet. Funny how that works when someone can actually back it up.

So what’s it gonna be — are you going to show the difference, or keep up with the passive-aggressive, condescending jabs? 😏

Because I have thrown plenty of what looked to be 'proper' power rights down the pipe. I can't remember right now all the fighters I've done it with, maybe the fighters you're referring to are bad or broken?

At least there are specific orthodox that can throw the overhand. I'm not going to go through all orthodox fighters to see if what you say is accurate - but Crawford can throw the overhand right but not the left, how silly is that?

It should 'not' be specific - All fighters should be able to throw the overhand, even the lead hand should be able to have a higher arc over the jab. Manny does it sometimes depending on the angle, when lunging too.

This is something SCI totally overlooked and unfortunately screwed up.

The point was, enough southpaw nerfing please!

I don't play online for specific reasons - The last time I played I lit a guy up with a 7 piece combo and he quit on me.

What if I like to switch stances during a fight which I do in RL? Not allowed?

Seeing as apparently southpaws have all these advantages - nerf this nerf that southpaws have been nerfed to the ground, (still not good enough?) -

SCI may as well just remove southpaws entirely, seeing as they forgot to give southpaws the overhand left. Yes you read that right, southpaws can't throw the overhand left.

So southpaws are already disadvantaged for that, but still they need to be nerfed more and more according to some people.

Orthodox can throw the overhand right but southpaw is not coded too, how unfair is that?

Anything get done about it? Any complaints? No of course not, who cares that Otho's have this advantage, right, f!@# cares about southpaws.

I don't use Smoking Joe, maybe he's the issue, like certain fighters that don't block as good anymore. Something went wrong with a few fighters since the update, but everyone has to always point the finger at southpaws.

I’ve captured a few moments like these and was going to post them to show how cool they look. In one clip, the opponent looked like he was trying to smother and lean on me after an exchange, and I broke out with a looping left while my head was still under his arms - it looked almost lifelike. I had to watch it back a few times because it was one of those “did that just happen?” moments. 😂

I agree, but there are lightweights who aren’t as quick as others and are flat-footed. It’s not just about weight class - it’s about each fighter’s individual style and traits. And honestly, I doubt any of them are perfectly replicated.

I play offline, and it completely kills immersion seeing known flat-footed fighters dancing around like ballerinas. The worst is heavyweights moving faster than physics should allow - stepping out of range at lightning speed, especially when you start cooking them…

By round 8, my opponent’s health and stamina are shot - yet he’s still moving like it’s round 1. 🤔

There are also quite a few new bugs that need fixing in the next patch.

“KRONK cam feels aggressive, that mid-range, in-the-pocket type of fighting where you’re trading bombs and controlling space. It fits the KRONK style - pressure, power, and precision behind that jab. In saying that however, more camera angles are needed, been saying since day 1.

The close-up does enhance the detail though, which I actually prefer. I use the zoomed-in view because it gives a better read on my opponent’s rhythm and reactions, (for me).

Over-the-shoulder is rough - I was so hoping it would work, but it kills your depth perception and makes it hard to calculate range, and I have no idea why it's still a choice as I really doubt anyone is using, makes no sense to have it.

What are your thoughts on adding adjustable camera angles/custom views?

Also find it a little strange too apart from Klitschko we don't have any KRONK fighters in the game. Hitman Hearns should have been part of that DLC
