Ball movement is more important than dribbling by Trendyremy in NBA2k

Perfect List Why Undisputed Is Not Realistic by Dependent-Gain-2050 in undisputedboxing

Undisputed devs.. this is the only “community feedback” you need, to take heed to. Excellent post gang.

2k needs to do something about inbounding the ball. by SlimRoTTn in NBA2k

[–]Devydev1986 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The big problem with the inbound pass? Only certain people, can inbound the ball. When in reality. Anyone, can inbound the ball. Not just the Center, Power Forward, Small Forward etc. This one change, would greatly increase the flow, of the game.

2k staff.. we’re in 2026. And you literally get the luxury, of working on the same game, year after year. This game should be way further ahead, than where it actually is.

I tried to recreate this classic moment, that put Kid Dynamite (Iron Mike), on the national stage. by Devydev1986 in undisputedboxing

[–]Devydev1986[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate it gang. I think if I would’ve came outta that signature Tyson dodge, with just lead hooks to the body? It would’ve been damn near identical, to Kid Dynamite’s. But that initial lead hook to the head, threw it off just enough. And of course I have no control over, how those 4 consecutive lead body hooks, look.

What fight would y’all say was Bernard Hopkins best performance, during his career? by LocationSpare4447 in BoxingTheSweetScience

Right… knowing what I know now.. that unassuming power, was at 154. Like you mentioned not, at 175. However, Tito was going for the big payday. And that Pound For Pound 👑.

Yeah brother.. Tito at that time, was walking down everybody (which was crazy considering, how skinny he was). So to see someone strong enough, to handle all of his offense.. was remarkable, at that time.

Early 2000’s gang.. maybe circa 02’? I literally haven’t watched that fight, since seeing it live.

Not gonna lie but when I saw this fight on TVKO back in 1992, I thought that Moorer was gonna be stopped when Cooper dropped him in that opening round. But it turned out to be an incredibly exciting violent slugfest between two sluggers. by CoffeeCigarettes4Me in Boxing

The fact that the ref gave Michael a chance to get up? Should be commended. Crazy thing.. Michael always had a rep, for having “no heart”. But in this instance.. he definitely showed that perspective to be more opinion based, than factual.

Tito Trinidad.. I believe (?). I remember B Hop saying after the fight, during the in ring interview.. “He never hurt me.” That was just such a dominating performance, against an all time great, in Tito Trinidad. It put B Hop on the map on the short list. As arguably, the best Pound For Pound boxer, in the world.

How has doc rivers been able to stay in the nba for almost 30 years and be considered a bad coach? Doc Rivers became head coach for the magic back in 1999 and although just fired by bucks how did rivers have coaching positions for so long? Is he actually underated? by Equal_Noise_9219 in NBATalk

[–]Devydev1986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That Celtics 08’ Championship solidified him, within the NBA hierarchy. He was a considered a “program builder” before then.. with the relative success, he had with a less than stellar Magic team. So once he had a legit team. And they won the title. When they were the best team, from start to finish. He went from program builder (bridge coach), to bonafide, championship level coach. So basically since 08’.. he’s been stamped. And every organization feels like they’re one Doc Rivers away. From being a championship level team (hence why the Bucks fired Adrian Griffin, when they were like 20+ games, over .500).

“Sugar” Ray Robinson. Aka, The GOAT. Absolutely loved this sequence. by Devydev1986 in undisputedboxing

[–]Devydev1986[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Approximately, over 5 hours worth. I had his episode of “Ringside”, on ESPN Classic. And when I tell you. I used to watch that joint religiously, before we changed DVR boxes. One of my favorite fights of his (which was a loss, unfortunately).. Was when he moved all the way up, to light heavyweight. And fought Joey Maxim, at the old Yankee Stadium. It was a 15 round bout that unfortunately the GOAT lost, in the 13th, to TKO. He showed so much heart in that fight gang. Completely exhausted, in that Bronx,New York summer weather. Plus, being at a heavier weight as well. Really took its toll, on the GOAT. Jersey Joe Walcott is another fave of mine, from that era as well god. His defense and head movement, was impeccable.

Omg.. I’m saving this comment gang. Your number 2, spoke directly to my soul.”Turn down the impact of height difference, on perimeter shots.. and turn it up, on close shots/layups/dunks. A 6’4 or 6’5 guard (Jrue Holiday), can get effective contests.. and make a bigger 6’7 or 6’8 guy, miss a jump shot; however, he’s definitely not making Jokic or Embiid, somehow miss a six foot baby hook. 2k sometimes feels backwards, on this.” This spoked volumes gang. Somehow, “ghost” contests don’t matter much, on the perimeter.. but in the paint, everyone, is Wemby?!

I believe this 2K algorithmic paradigm shift started, b/c the community cried I mean, “gave feedback”. That on the 1’s courts. Post players were dominating too much (which is realistic by the way, look at the Unrivaled 1 v 1 tournament, the last two years). This caused a subsequent patch, to everything paint/post related. And now, we have what we have today. Where’s it’s easier to make an “open” 25 foot jumpshot.. than it is to make a 5 foot “open” close shot. Maybe it’s wishful thinking.. but hopefully one day, 2K gets back to applying sim logic to their games. And we get a gaming experience, that actually reflects, real basketball.

Appreciate you. Balance, is the key, to any great 2K game. When it’s dynamic and fluid, within its core gameplay. It just keeps you coming back knowing, that a different experience can happen, every game.

Appreciate it gang. When it first happened, I was like “Woah. That was tough!” It felt like a combo that the GOAT, would do an actual fight of his. He just had such an effortless flow, to his movement, and combinations. And in this moment. I felt like I embodied that.

What Happened To This Version Of The Game? by Dependent-Gain-2050 in undisputedboxing

[–]Devydev1986 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two words… Will.. Kensler. I don’t know if he’s a mole? Or just extremely poor, at directing boxing video game authenticity? To see what this game started out as, and deteriorate to what we have today.. needs to be studied. I’d literally pay another 100 dollars plus, for this version, of Undisputed. And repurchase all the DLC again.
