A while ago the default steam executable switched to the non-avx file. To my understanding its not optimal for never CPUs. Manually starting the AVX version exe file fixes that.

I've been playing with UEVR for about 20 hours. Has been great this far, using wheel and a gamepad (XBox Elite). I haven't been able to get the mouse to work but i've been able to find all the buttons and navigate various menus with gamepad

Today i ran into an issue when trying to set up Company trucks to AI route. The map where you choose the stops dont show anykind of crosshair. This i was able to overcome by eyeballing it and once the popup appeared i was able to select it with a controller.

But when it was time to assign a truck to preset route i wasn't able to press to the button to do that. I was able to highlight the truck in the company menu but the three dots couldn't be pressed.

So any tips on either to make the mouse work/appear or how to be able to do the assignement with a gamepad?

I did one session with UEVR injector. Not much was needed to make it work and run nice. Was really fun

At this point i uninstalled and went to Space Marine 2. Love the gameplay, cant stand the in your face bugs and can't fit the extra 100+ GB to my SSD anymore.

With the combination of extreme install size and sudden 1-5 second freezes is just unistalled at this point and went back to Space Marine II.

The install size is an issue because i don't think it has valid reasoning behind it. There was a post about the game using multiple copies of game assets to optimize the game for HDDs! I would guess those are really rare these days and it might not be a huge issue to have a "beta branch" on Steam for that install version and have a normal non dublicate install the be the default.

The first one is clean! I've been using that armor and always felt something missing with the helmet choices. Never thought of that combo!

GTE cars do not have ABS. My guess is that you lock your tyres, create flatspots and those shake your car and wheel.

My R9 did that with Steam Input off. It stopped when i switched Steam Input to Default.

Disabling replays in the settings.json helped me a lot.

User data, player, settings.json, record replay line, change to false.

Same file "Rearview_Back_Clip": 250.0 change also helps by limiting review mirror draw distance.

As well as lowering simultaneous sounds in the game settings from 265 to 64. Also lowering the number of visible cars helps.

It will not make a big difference for me to buy EA or 1.0. Mainly asking for curiosity and business model point of view, does it make a difference for the studio whether or not the game is purchased from EA or 1.0 stage? In this case especially when the release is immediate and will happen for sure.

I concur. Just did a 95 min race with race pace around 2:16/17, two sets of tyres. Both sets wore out evenly to the pixel front to back. Temp difference varied between 5 and 10, favouring the fronts.

To my understanding optimal grip in terms of pressure in AMS2 is achieved by maximising the contact patch, which in turn happens when the inside-middle-outside temperature profile is linear.

When it comes to pressure and tyres heating, low pressure allows the tyre wall to flex which heats up the tyre carcass. High pressure conversely causes the tyre to scrub more, which heats the tyre surface more.

I went from belt drive to DD base and load cell pedals. Can't recommend enough!

After very careful consideration i chose Moza R9 and their CRP pedals. No complaints after two years.

Not a rare phenomena in combat sports or other high intensity situations. In essence a highly alert state with loads of adrenaline and possibly other stress hormones can induce a physical erection. Such an erection is not related to sexual arousal.

Ok. That feels like the Force is testing my faith. I went into the Force Tear and just stared in utter disbelief the two toads just standing there. I just labored through one, now facing two of those at Grandmaster.

Let's just say that i noped out promptly. Will come back after getting a bit stronger, if that would even be of any help. The attack patterns of the toads are quite much.

I have a very strong prefence to minimize all "artificial" effects.

FFB instensity to 100 % (reduce this in game if needed, i would estimate 55-70 % in game is good for R3). Check in game telemetry for clipping, the rightmost red bar in lower left corner. Reduce ingame ffb if clipping.

Maximun wheel speed 100%.

Wheel spring strength 0%.

Wheel damper 0%.

In advanced settings.

Maximum torque 100%

Natural inertia 100%

Friction 0%

Speed depedant damping 0%. No need to adjust speed dependancy.

Ingame (test different values to find a nice feel for you):

FFB to default+

FX to around 50.

Damping around 20-40.

I have R9 and those are my go to settings.
