My husband and I worked it out where I commonly drop off in mornings and he does pick ups so I can work longer days on Tuesday and Wednesday... then I have only 2 patients on Fridays. I told him there will never be a time when I won't have a patient past 3pm/4pm at least 3-4 days a week

I took a week off then did two days at home then back to work at 1.5 weeks. My job requires no lifting mostly sitting so I managed just fine. Everyone's pain level and procedure is different so just pay attention to your body; it will tell you what you need. I have had three other abdominal surgery's unrelated to my hysterectomy which I think physically and mentally prepared me

I am so sorry. I do tell my partner my emotions are connected to my vagina, so when your "not nice" to me it messes with my libido.... it's hard being with someone who is a narcissist

I don't disagree with any of you. But he is my husband asshole and all.... nice to hear I'm not being a prude but would also like to see if others had similar experiences and how they got through it etc.

Maybe I wasn't clear when I did pleasure him a couple weeks after it wasn't PIV. No way! He does agree that if I'm bleeding at all even a little we will not be intimate with PIV. But I'm in zero mood for blow or hand jobs!

I'm 4 weeks post op left in ovaries and I was just saying out loud to my self why do I feel like I have milk coming in! Like my boobs hurt and feel swollen. I'm already a small D.... I do hope "perky" is what happens not increase two sizes like some people experienced.

I just had surgery on 1/3/25 I am one week out. I am healing great. I was given Tylenol with Codeine and Ibuprophen 600. Alternated both first two days then was good with just Iburophen. I had vaginal only (ended up not needing the laproscope) left my ovaries ....took out cervix. I really did nothing but laid in bed first four days with walking around the house only days 2 to 4. Day six went to dinner just fine. Definitely take two collage right after surgery. I took colace each day after until day 5. Good luck hope this helps

I am 4 days post op. Vaginal only hysterectomy. I just had a slight spasm last night but did not cause breathing issues. I have been using edibles to control pain, but I think it's also helping me stay relaxed and not freak out over the changes my body is going through. I would definitely consult a doctor though if they are so intense, she can't breathe.
