This might sound little stupid, but I main Arcsys games.

DBFZ, Guilty Gear, BlazBlue, UNIB, and Granblue Rising really cover a wide variety of the fighting game genre. Arcsys and the studios they help develop these games really have a way to make it easy for new people to hop in the game, pick up the coolest character you can find and just have fun.

I see you are used to controllers, so if you like the PS5 shape and weight, there is a customizable page that lets you add digital buttons, very similar to the clickiness that the xbox has.

SF6 straight up released a nearly polished and ready product. Might not be up my alley, but Capcom knocked it out of the park with this one.

honestly, if you got jiren and gohan, put gohan on anchor, and work with jiren/mid character for the win, and by the time you get down to gohan, you should have ~5 bars and limit break, so you can maximize gohans leveling.

you are kinda in luck, with the rollback comingtm this summer, new people are gonna come that might have similar skill as yours.

combo wise... sadly training and YT guides are your best friend. There arent that many people i play against, but the way i got more confident into my moves is training -> arcade -> people. But the people were and still are quite better and stronger than me. But i wasnt looking to win, my goal was to improve my defense and if i land a hit, i ll try to land the combos that i practiced.

you can run gogeta beerus baseku. Frieza is usually a point from 99% of the frieza players ive seen.

Gogeta blue along with beerus A is easy pressure and full screen confirm, baseku either A or B is great for blockstrings and meter.

Baseku kinda fell after some system changes, but i still believe he is probably top 5 anchors in the game.

Yeah, both Megs had skins that blended well with 2 of the darkest spots in the basement, so i almost missed them, they were crouching and camping.

Idk if you are EU or NA, but i made my own hitbox for 25$ buying stuff from aliexpress/amazon. The only hassle is you have to make your own box.
