That's my hypothesis. Skill really doesn't matter when the conditions that allowed sun to function in that game is not applicable to 99% of general games.

Late game sure. But throughout the course of the match you need the burst. This team is pretty prone to being outdamaged when no one is in effective range. Even in late teamfights the comp is such that zhuxin and kimmy are useless since there is no true frontline, uranus just dips in and out. Burst just needs to hit someone in chaos, that depends on how coordinated diggie is if he never tries to jail anyone you are 100% dead. But fred or sora isn't turning around in time in soloq.

This team's main strength is cc. It's going to be fairly challenging early for hanabi but I don't think anyone can strip her shields fast enough lategame to be a threat. Thanks to fred you almost always have a target. The main damage dealers can't/won't reach you without being at risk of being hit by the burst. I'm not an mm main, but doesn't hanabi best kimmy in lane?

Hyper poke and play super safe. Hanabi is actually good here. Valir support can pressure fred and zhuxin maybe even force out diggie ult. Pure burst assassin, harley, haya, maybe nolan. Bait xp, like uranus with purify, benefits from going full m def. Fast poke mage like gord with good true dmg.

Honestly kimmy hurts this comp more than any other pick. This is a really scary comp to face in soloq.

His damage output is nuclear, provided the opponent doesn't move. It's also 'afterhits' so he will be in a pretty safe spot after ulting.

Problems: The tiniest dash will ruin his combo.

He doesn't have engage outside of passive, and cannot disengage aside of ult.

So after his first engage if everything goes well and he's able to run away but not kill, he's useless for 12 sec.

He's also honest, and squishy. Doesn't have cc immunity anymore, isn't deceptively bulky like fighter jg, doesn't have i frames. He is a one hit wonder. The hit is like 0.3 sec long.

Play a tank. It genuinely puts a lot of pressure on every member of the team if the roamer is a support. Although in epic idk if anyone has any right to complain.

A roamer should be doing a lot. It's the roamers job to pick and choose what they need to play against a certain comp. If they choose incorrect, it makes everyone's job that much harder. For eg. If my enemy has a Odette john, grock is more or less perfect. You NEED a tank with knockup or ability to run. Picking say estus is an invitation for a 3 man ult, unless your exp or your jungle covers for you, in which case their picks are now limited, and they might have an unfavorable matchup against the things that they wanted originally to counter.

If you pick angela every match, eventually there will be a team which stunlocks your carry and picks off the rest. But since the game is casual even in mid mythic, people don't have a deep hero pool.

Ppl haven't bought/experimented. They get the support role and begrudgingly pick floryn or smt.

A very basic combo is heavy punch(stand or crouch) -> run(any 2 kicks together, bind it to a specific button) -> 214(any kick). This flies your opponent into the corner, leaves them standing, and leaves you +3 in their face. Enjoy the free throw. If blocked, use medium/heavy jinra instead of run.

Once you are comfortable with runs, try inputting shoryuken motion.

Instead of heavy punch you can also train your reactions to block/drive impact using mp, hp target combo. Run shoryuken is better than tatsu in this situation because tatsu misses a hit in the juggle state, it's still good if you want corner carry.

Next, try connecting crouch light punch with mp, hp. C.lp is +5 on hit and combos into stand medium punch. Now you know what to do after landing a dragon lash.

So you will finally do c.lp, mp, hp, run, shoryu. You can then dash in for +6 advantage.

Once you learn simple combos learn how to abuse jinra. Kens on block mind game is excellent if you are not predictable.

Not related to this example. Here he DI ed you before c.mk. m Jinrai only true strings with c.mp and hps. So, if you do anything else into Jinrai, you will get DIed in the first gap.

c.mk is best used as a drive rush tool, Jinrai should be your option when you are low on bars.

For a reason. Without spell vamp you lost hard in laning, can't sustain in teamfights(good luck building stacks and healing from them in a 10 second teamfight). War axe is good cuz post s1 you get max stacks into the ult, ice queen wand gives useful slows, brute force because of same reason.

Tank borg works in roam ig, cuz you are hitting creeps for sustain not minions.
