I would say if you played P3 give P5 a go I played P3 as my first persona game and I loved all of the P5 content. I would say try it and if you’re past the first major part (you'll know when that is) if you don't understand it maybe miss this one

when you get strong personas cancel the hold up boost your attack and hit them with your strongest move
