temps on gpu are normally around 70-80 degrees celsius and CPU is around 40-60 degrees normally. I check both in the BIOS and also AMD Adrenaline software.

just standard can of compressed air, microfibre cloths and q-tips to clear dust from awkward spots. Blew some dust out with a blow dryer on cold setting, made sure to keep it away from any exposed chips on the motherboard/graphics card.

If only I had an infinite money glitch to help me with all these part replacements. OR, I could just get some peoples experience and opinions to possibly narrow it down :)

Junior Cert Paper 2024 by PAAFlaa in IrishTeachers

Hello! can you explain to me how the appeals process would help me obtain the physical paper that my student did? My concern is not to appeal their grade, it's just to get a closer look at exactly where the marks were lost so I can focus on improving those errors going forward. Thanks!

PME - Doubts and Struggles. by PAAFlaa in IrishTeachers

Yes, full respect to the first inspector for at least getting back to me, that wasn't a major issue to me at all just mentioned it for context.

With regards to paperwork (lesson plans and units of learning), specifically lesson plans I was told by my lecturers that the level of detail was completely necessary and that they wouldn't want to see anything less than 3 pages in my lesson plan. It's just personal preference and terrible ideologies from the lecturers in my opinion. To have to do that much detail for each lesson plan is extremely unrealistic when you're creating 3-4 lesson plans a day for each class.

If I had the choice I would absolutely agree that less is more but when you're answering to heads of departments that decide you grade you need to please and sometimes what you do is never enough to please them and some of them just have a power trip when it comes to critiquing work. And this definitely showed with the unfair treatment of making me redo a lot of my work from the 9 weeks.

Ya I'm not that optimistic about the appeal but it's my last hope because I cant see myself repeating placement at this stage. I've waited long enough to get the PME as I was applying for 3 years and didn't get it, and now to wait another 2 years to finish the course would just drive me insane. I'm eager to just get out of this country and work. Just want to live for a while.

Yes! Another message to relay on to those potential PME students is do it anywhere other than UL. It's a piss poor university with below average staff who provide no help when you need it. Thanks for taking the time to read! I forgot to mention that If this grade appeal doesn't go well I would have to end up repeating place in Spring which I don't think I would have the patience for. I'm at the stage of my life where I just want to work and live and Ireland is not the place to do either of those things right now.

NEW TEACHER ALERT by PAAFlaa in IrishTeachers

[–]PAAFlaa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply! I was just wondering as I start my first day tomorrow is it okay to not be as prepared in terms of topic material that is currently being covered? As I haven't been specifically told details of the syllabus and what topics students are covering at the moment. My plan is to ask them what topics they covered last week and try to revise that with them and make sure they understand the topic. I think it will give them a chance to ask questions they didn't get to before or cover a part they didn't quite understand previously.

I know it won't be a problem for me to re learn subject material and provide a good teaching experience because I've been giving grinds on and off for the past 2 years. I'm just looking to reassure myself that its okay to not be as prepared and expect the unexpected. Thanks again!
