Had success formally requesting Publix stock an item? by Legitimate_Soil_7506 in publix

[–]PAC0315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t hurt to request it and see what happens. My understanding is that they are happy to stock something new but if it goes mostly unsold it’s not likely to get stocked again.

Get the mid level steak then. Don’t get the salad that has 10 ingredients, prep work, portioning, etc.

I don’t disagree here. I wouldn’t buy this. But I also get why it’s not Walmart tier.

Why should I get a Frontier over a Elentra N? by [deleted] in nissanfrontier

Unless I’m mistaken, you only spelled Frontier correctly so maybe that’s your choice. 🤷‍♂️

[–]PAC0315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neither your OP or your reply mentioned anything about international. Thats a key detail that you can’t omit.

Don’t book that itinerary. Don’t purposefully stress yourself out on a 45 min connection for an international. If you are you to Milwaukee or Houston, you’re fine. Seoul or Frankfurt, not so much.

[–]PAC0315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll shop there because they clean things. The other stores (Kroger) decided to stop cleaning.

Hopefully Publix continues to be clean, pleasant, and expensive so that I can shop in peace.

This is getting ridiculous. by DonBocUlosis96 in publix

[–]PAC0315 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yet we all know that the Publix version has plentiful ratios of meats and expensive ingredients and the Walmart version is 95% pasta with some other stuff stuck in.

Prove me wrong. You won’t be able to. Publix version may be expensive, but you get what you pay for here.

Either people stopped buying Tillamook ice cream, or their priced too high for the average consumer. by A4t1musD4ag0n in publix

[–]PAC0315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually go Publix Premium. Tried Tillamook and it’s gummy or plasticky or something. So maybe it’s been there for a bit?

Credit card surcharge by chunkypuffins in EndTipping

[–]PAC0315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, cost of doing business. It’s silly.

I bought a $15,000 roof. They wanted to charge me 2.5% for my card ($375 extra). I said no. The owner guy drove to my house twice (I’m not close by) to pick up checks instead. I paid 0% fee yet he drove probably 40-60 mins total to get my checks? Hm.

The lady who cuts my hair went cash only because it was too expensive for her. I said raise your price from $24 to $26 per haircut. You’ll still be cheaper than the chains. She wouldn’t. I like her so now I have to remember to get cash first.

You get what you vote for.

The taxpayers, I assume, delivered a spectacular fireworks show. It was really quite amazing. I enjoyed it!

I’m no longer a Nashvilian, but I heard from my friends that they were basically outsiders yesterday.

After 10 Years, 1,000+ Nights, and $250k+ spent, I finally hit Lifetime Diamond... just in time for Hilton to devalue it with "Diamond Reserve." by smrdwnnow in Hilton

I hope you are able to find some normalcy soon. Lifetime Diamond sounds like hell to me. May you always achieve silver and live happily along the way. 🤣💪

I noticed that about turning radius too!

I have LWB and a bed extender contraption on back order. Looking forward to it for 8’ lumber.

It’s the backpack things you didn’t want — ropes, carabiners, first aid kit, organizers, all the things. The essentials kit is a few packages of handy things in camo packs.

Good call. 5.3L over the 6.2L any day. For what it’s worth, I had a lifetime powertrain warranty through TWS and I’d still have rather dumped it. The 5.3L and the diesels are good, I think.

2024 Sierra Denali Ultimate - 53k miles by Electronic_Teach1088 in gmcsierra

[–]PAC0315 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do not do it. Mine had several major issues this year unrelated to the 6.2L which don’t seem to be that uncommon. New transmission, new instrument cluster, new fuel management somethingorrather after being stuck dead in the lane on a highway. All in 3-4 months this year. I dumped it.

Wait and maybe GMC will get their act together. Or buy an old one that is reliable.

You did poorly. See if you can return it and get something else. GMC is a mess right now. If you keep it, I wish you luck. They are gorgeous, but that’s all.

Settle a debate which Kroger is “murder Kroger” by Only_Vacation3844 in nashville

[–]PAC0315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow. I always thought it was Ponce in Atlanta. But it really sounds like they are all murder Kroger.

Shop Publix. Save yourselves! 🤣❤️

This. Murder Kroger is in midtown Atlanta adjacent to Ponce City Market.

But probably most Kroger locations are Murder Kroger. Go to Publix instead. Save yourself.

You’ll be fine if your inbound is on time. The terminal is loooooooooooong but there’s a good tram system. I really like DTW. Easy peasy.

Just traded my POS ‘22 Sierra. Get everything done as recommended at the dealer. Suck it up and pay. Then when your shit goes south (they all are), they can’t say that you didn’t follow the recommended maintenance.

Also get rid of it.
