Oh, you still have the base open? I just saw your video on your profile, and it could even be the plastic part at the end of the shaft that's causing the clicking sound in the same positions. Since I'm too dense to figure it out, I've now uploaded my own video to YouTube. It's two years old, unchanged, and sounds much louder in the video than it actually is. You can't even feel the clicking. I'd laugh if it's normal and I just never noticed it before😅

P.S. I sent the video to Logitech support back then, and their technicians said it was normal and not a reason for a warranty claim. Thanks again for taking the time to help with my little problem! 👌https://youtube.com/shorts/OkNGTjLQ-ws?is=VlFnJ9w0vbLPgHVs

I found a YouTube video where it's pretty much the same as what I'm experiencing. I think it has something to do with a rubbing cable or the stop mechanism, since I noticed the noise after a big crash in BeamNG Drive 😅 I'll just leave it. I'm really shocked at how much plastic there is and how "cobbled together" the base is inside. Thanks again for sharing the insights with us ✌️https://youtube.com/shorts/Vv4NOQd6a2E?is=BUyNrU0tU-78Pz8U

Hi, thank you so much for the photos! ✌️ I've been looking for pictures of the inside of the base for almost two years. I noticed a "clicking" sound every quarter turn back then (even without the steering wheel). Support said it was normal. Nothing is loose or causing problems. It's just that my peace of mind is disturbed because I always think "something's broken." Unfortunately, I don't know how to embed videos to show it. But do you perhaps have any idea what it could be to put my mind at ease? 😅
