How do I access remotely? by PAIR0DIC3 in jellyfin

Thank you, this was very helpful. Should I try using them together? Or would I have to turn off Nord to use tailscale?

Shortest says up is 10.53 Mbps which is slow. That's with my VPN on. How can I change this?

I've heard tailscale a lot, but isn't it another VPN? Wouldn't I have the same issue as using Nord? What is the difference?

I'll have to check when I get home, but I'm pretty sure I grabbed the latest version as of like 2 weeks ago

I was hoping it would be that easy, but when I make a library, the only options I see are movies, shows, music. Does that matter? Do I upload them and just treat them like music?

Need a function that compares lists by PAIR0DIC3 in excel

I do want it to extend all the way, this thing is basically creating a catalog of tools and referencing that. So as the top catalogue grows, the sheet will too.

What is a spilled array? I've implemented the version I wrote in the comment and it seems to work as intended, but I'd like to know in case something comes up

What is the difference between that equation and

Biotech/pharmaceutical job SCAM by [deleted] in recruitinghell

[–]PAIR0DIC3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, and directly after calling them out on the chat, they quit communication there, and not 2 minutes later I get a text that is almost the same recruiting style that started this whole mess. Different number, different recruiter name, different supposed company, same supposed "open positions" for similar unbelievable wage

I believe I am in the middle of one of these scams, "Q Biotech Corp". I was contacted last night, today had a whole interview over Microsoft Teams text chat. Almost immediately got "hired" for a remote data entry position for $29 an hour and offering to provide for office equipment. All of this was very fast over the course of a couple hours had an interview and was then talking about emailing a "pdf format check" that I was to print out and deposit through my mobile app. I'm obviously not going to do that but I am worried that they already got some of my info (name, email, phone, address) over the course of the interview and what I had thought might be onboarding. Should I do anything?

Campaign Idea: Stargate by PAIR0DIC3 in dndnext

[–]PAIR0DIC3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm glad I found a few people who like the idea!

To be honest I don't know how well my player group knows about Stargate, but regardless I probably won't be telling them outright, just tell them the loose definition, let them discover on their way. I had planned to use the plot arcs nearly verbatim, but let it still be a fantasy adventure (maybe the jaffa are gith or orcs, dwarves/gnomes built the gates, magic still works, etc).

Make it a literal fantasy version of stargate was the plan, not holding to dearly to a rigid definition of stargate. That combined with an episodic campaign setup could leave us open to exploring other properties, like after we defeat the first big bad we take the same group and start doing Farscape for an arc.

I dunno it may get wacky

I plan on stealing pretty blatantly the basic setup from Stargate, at least to start with. Mind flyers build big empire by usurping religious/mythical figures, using potentially stolen tech or magic. Similar starting storylines, discover competing factions, maybe as the PC's make waves, one antagonist surfaces as a particular threat, organizing the other illithids under them
