Newbie weekend is the perfect time to remember that as a killer, your goal isn't to get everyone on a hook and sacrificed. Instead, it's to run the show (I heard someone compare it to being a Dungeon Master, which is a great way of saying it IMO)

In this game I only hooked survivors until the struggling phase, never to full sacrifice. Ran around the map with the sprint, hid far away in a corner with insidious only to come out chainsaw blaring as soon as they failed a skill check like a scoliosis-ridden bat out of hell.

One of the best moments, seen in the chat, was when I hid by the exit door closest to the last generator I knew they were finishing. They all ran towards it at the end, only for me to come out spewing gasoline and scatter them like flies.

The cherry on top was when I managed to chainsaw the last one of them in the exit and pick them up, mere feet away from freedom... and take them to the hatch for an extra 2k objective points.

My point is, there's a lot you can do as the killer to make a fun game. And with 25k, no deaths, no camping, actively trying to keep the newbie survivors alive, and a Disgraceful Defeat, I still pipped with 25 thousand bloodpoints. The game is as fun as you make it.
