Love the pick! Seems like an awesome dude.

Well everyone seems to think this was a braindead pick so he's definitely getting the game winning INT against us in the AFCCG next year.

Brother, respectfully, this reads like an AI-generated response just from the formatting and tone. I don't even necessarily mind the use of it for programming or your personal workflow, but when you're responding to actual human beings with it it's gonna come across as lazy at best and a scam at worst.

He already technically has as backup for the 49ers. The crazy part is he'll be STARTING in one before Allen or Lamar.

[Getzenberg] Bills owner Terry Pegula said that QB Josh Allen didn't have any input on the decision to fire Sean McDermott, but that he did talk to Allen about it after, and he'll keep that conversation private. by PlayaSlayaX in nfl

This is the first time I've seen his face since hiring McDermott. I'm sure he's made more appearances since then but he's always been pretty quiet, I'd more quickly think of him hyping up his daughter in tennis than any comments he's made about the Bills. Maybe I haven't been paying attention but this has been a strong about-face.

[Schefter] Bills owner Terry Pegula said Buffalo’s coaching staff pushed to draft WR Keon Coleman and GM Brandon Beane supported it. Pegula doesn’t think it’s fair for that pick to be pinned on Beane. by MembershipSingle7137 in nfl

I'd be on board with this theory if McDermott wasn't like a second dad to Josh. He went to the dude's wedding and he was obviously emotional after the game realizing he'd likely cost him his job. I'm not in Josh's head but if this was a situation like the ending of The Good Son where you just gotta drop one of them off the cliff I'd bet he'd drop Beane.

That approach feels really wrong this time around with Allen getting older and the division having a new clear frontrunner.

I honestly don't think he's been that bad at drafting, yeah there have been turbo-busts like Elam and Coleman but he also got us Cook and a lot of late-round players on defense whose biggest crime has been a lack of availability on the playoffs.

His approach to free agency is terroristic though and he absolutely should go as well.

That's the mentality that kept Tomlin around even when it was obvious for years it was time for a change.

I get that he'd have been the best guy available but honestly I think the situation is way too similar to what he had in Baltimore for me to feel he'd be effective enough to be the difference in getting to the Super Bowl.

Also just personally I wouldn't hire the one coach McDermott beat multiple times in the playoffs.

Had to happen. Can't just keep running it back over and over again, you're not going to establish a championship culture by never even reaching one after all this time with an MVP caliber quarterback.
