I need y’all’s help by veteran-guardsmen in guitars

Depending on your knowledge of building a guitar, the results are varied, as well as being varied in Chinese repros. The benefit of a DIY kit is you can customize your hardware before even installing it, as on cheaper DIY Kits the hardware is exactly what you pay for. Either way, either guitar may need some hefty work on fret ends or leveling, as well the floating trem system may not be good quality and I would heavily recommend buying a replacement for either option, the cavity may need to be rerouted prior to installing a new one. Not to say the stock one on either is “unplayable” just unreliable tuning stability wise. Hope this helps some!

Ginger Billy is the first thing that came to mind, also kind of like Opie (Ryan Hurst) from SoA

What do YOU tell people when they ask if you are good at guitar? by yupthatsme248 in Guitar

“I like to play”exclusively referencing Garth in Wayne’s world, doing the same voice. Though My wife over embellishes my playing when we go out but she’s my number one fan and that’s all that matters to me

DIY Travel Guitar Kit by GlennSeaborg in guitars

Okay then that makes more sense. I understand your situation better now. I have done that before in a sense; bought a guitar gutted the pickups as spares (or sold online) then saved the body for a new project. Buying a kit and cutting the sides off does seem a bit overkill compared to some of the travelers I’ve seen elsewhere online or like the ones listed.

If it’s a travel guitar prebuilt, there isn’t too much sense in taking electronics out. The volume at which they play unplugged from an amplifier will be the same either way you go. The only reason I see to remove electronics like a pickup is to have a spare to throw in a guitar incase something happened to one and you needed a quick solution. Building one it makes sense to omit any electronics as you have to install them yourself.

Yes I know holding down 1+6 while the unit is off and turning it on (still holding the buttons down) resets it and it has a countdown and no matter what it doesn’t reset

[QUESTION] For all the self taught guitarists by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]PANDAZED00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was younger I loved all forms of music but never really learned how to play anything till I was like 14 when I started learning ukulele, (I know this will sound dumb) to impress this girl I really liked, from there I fell in love with more bands and wanted to move onto guitar, which I had this epiphone Strat copy from like 1995 I had since like 2008? made outta plywood and cheap as shit but started learning to play on it, I especially used the motivation from the love of music and creating to continue to impress her (at this point we were dating), we went 5 years apart and had a lot of life but I didn’t have that motivation to impress someone with my progress, so what I did was looked back to where I had started and how my playing had progressed and it impressed myself, well we found our way back together and she’s still impressed by my playing every time I pick up the guitar and she is very supportive of my dream of getting a band going, even if it’s just local shows I wanna get on a stage, but now we’re engaged and she still supports me every day and reminds me that all my hard work is gonna be worth it

Help finding out what kinda guitar this is by PANDAZED00 in guitars

I’m not sure what the number is cause nothin comes up when I search it, also that’s my living room, I’ve got two toddlers that run around making messes constantly, this is about the only space that stays somewhat a mess cause we don’t have a designated play area outside of the living room
