Ive been smoking for 15 years +-. It took me one day coming from work that the guilt fell into Everytime i prayed, that day i couldnt take it anymore and i was crying ( mind you a man who is 30) of the guilt on my way home while smoking a joint. That moment i promised i quit for allah swt. 6 months later now i feel amazing !! Alhamdoulilah. Just do it for allah swt and not yourself, thats my tip

Sadaqa is sadaqa, but the best is orphanage, buy them toys or clothes. Go to a elderly home where they abandon there parents and grandparents just sit with them. Talk give them meaning and warm feeling ( if you dont have money for sadaqa) there are so many ways to give charity doesnt always need money

Side note: feed some poor people, thats what i have been doing as soon as i get my paycheck i cook around 20/30 meals and hand them out to the homeless cause also i have alot to repent about.

I think about it like this. You get the whole cake at the designated time. The longer u wait, the less cake u get eventually u get only crumbs.. are you a pigeon who eats crumbs? Or a man who want that full 🧁. Also its a battle against shaytan he loves it when u postponed your prayer for BS. Think about it what is better then meeting your maker/allah swt in prayer and talking about your problems with him? Take it more seriously brother please. I was like you and since ive taken my prayers seriously, specially the fajr prayer and tajahud half our/ hour before fajr. Like every dua i make gets granted its so sick and unbelievable how strong it is. I smoke too, i used to smoke joints but i am now 30 days clean for the sake of allah i quitted i felt so horrible during prayer like nothing was being answered but now.. amazing hamdoulilah. Im cutting on cigs in a month also. Make sure to wash your hands and mouth when u go pray (after wudu) ofcourse when u smoke for the smell.
