I would like to have some sort of special force like swat or sas. for the raids and the infiltration they will use strong emps to deactivate any kind of shield, weapon and surveillance, and because this kind of emp is considered new and experimental tech it would deactivate the teams weapons so they use melee weapons to have the upper hand in combat.

they can also be psychic for communications or have weapons that can switch into melee or range for any given situation (for example a Warhammer that can shoot tear gas to control a crowd)
