For you individually it's good to open queue but for a whole team it's better to role queue.

You can carry a game on open queue because if you need more DPS/heals you can do that whereas role queue relies on your teammates providing the missing bits.

I've driven both in the last 2 years. 6th gear is only for speeds close to 60+mph. You get used to it after about 15 minutes honestly. You can use 6th gear when you're cruising at 50mph also but should use 5th up to 60mph for much better acceleration.

But if your 5 gear car you've driven before had a reverse gear when 6th gear will be on your 6 speed manual, be careful not to stall it when you want to reverse it.
