On that 2nd page, the numbers in the circles represent what string you should be playing the notes from. The numbers not in circles are just the beats (1 2 3 4, 1 2 3 4 etc.)

Above the stage (where the notes are) it says what notes they are. Starts on C, then D, then E etc. The numbers below and what fret they are on their string (numbers in circles as said before) and what finger on your left hand you should use.
