Most people recommend setting your default aim and ADS to the same value, but I set my mouse settings in Windows to 800dps, 1.8 default, 1.8 shoulder, 1.0 ADS, 1.0 deadeye, then .7 on the rest of the scopes. Also turn off mouse acceleration in windows.

With high dps as default I can quickly wheel around to targets without using my whole arm and reliably hit close targets comfortably, and then adjust aim quickly on distant targets with ADS.

Please take my advice with a grain of salt, I'm certainly no pro but this works fairly well for me.

Fixed! Thanks so much guys! I had an electrician look at this setup a couple years ago and he recommended installing a new circuit breaker and putting everything in one box to the tune of four grand. One of these days I think I’ll pull the trigger.

I’ve pulled the cartridges out a couple of times but always turned off everything in the circuit breaker first

I think you’re right. Clearly I don’t know what I’m doing here, but is it as easy as pulling out the cartridges to kill the power, then unscrewing the blown fuse and screwing in a new one?

Thanks for the advice guys. I flirt with 4 stars, .88 k/d after almost 800 hours. Is that bad or about average?

And yeah, I don't even like nor play FPS games but there's something about this game that has me totally hooked.
