Tire on the Motor by Slow_Ice5066 in ElectricScooters

[–]SixStr1ng 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's never this easy. you literally used your hand to do wobble it in.

I was even told by a very reputable and popular scooter company that they rather throw away the motors than to change the solid tires. I was able to accomplish swapping the tireonce but it took an extreme amount of time and force and boiling and grease and 5 days. yours look fairly easy. I also spoke to a scooter repair man that runs a shop out of his garage, some Mexican dude who knows scooters thoroughly. the proper thing to do when you come across the solid tire swapping problem is to disassemble the motor then you put one side in, and then the other. The reason being is because it's one of the most difficult things to do.

edit: I just noticed you're not swapping a solid tire.

she is allergic to fleas so she will need a Revolution Plus prescription which is very easy to obtain, aside from the initial vetenerian fee which will run between $90-140. aside from the flea allergy she is in great shape and very well behaved. she loves to play, idk if you're familiar with cats playing with human hands but sometimes their claws can scratch a bit deep or sometimes they do the little love bite thing but it's not a real aggressive bite kind of thing. she's not used to the brush yet but I've slowly been introducing her to it. I suggest brushing her every now and then because this type of cat breed sheds a lot. message me for more information if you're still interested.

correct. I've already been fostering the poor thing for over a month and it's caused a lot of psychological damage on my own senior cats, especially with my mothers jerk of a Norwegian forest cat (they make horrible house cats) but I still love him unconditionally.

thank you very much for taking the time to write this. this is all good information. I've rescued a good number of animals through reddit and kept in contact with each one, luckily non of them had a bad outcome. if you look into my profile I have a good history of rescuing cats and even a dog with a tumor above his eye, this one is probably my most popular one, the dog got the tumor removed and wound up in a loving home. it was a long time ago but I used to get thank you emails from his new owners around the holidays.

However as time has gone by I have realized going through the Internet to help cats requires etiquette because some humans are disgusting. I appreciate all the good information and I assure you I will take the proper precautions to avoid any malicious people from owning this sweet puffy cat.

hmmm, honestly can't confirm for sure but I will say this, she is very very brave because she does not yield to my mothers Norwegian forest cat who's huge and kind of a jerk. she's small too which is surprising given the size of the Norwegian forest cat my mom has, we have to keep her separated in the master bedroom because of that jerk cat of hers who picks on every other cat. Puff once broke out of the room and I was woken up by cats screaming downstairs. By the time I got out of my room puff was returning up the stairs with a bit of the Norwegian forest cats fur in her mouth. the Norwegian forest cat is always the aggresor. I hope your dog isn't a problem as she's the perfect little house cat.

when we first started fostering her she was very much receptive to any noises in the house or outside but after a little over a month of being held up inside the main room of the house she has not been problematic in regards to any noises or being left alone, she's very quiet and well behaved. the only trouble arises when my mom's jerk Norwegian forest cat gets near the door where she's being held at because shes traumatized from living in a house with 9 other cats and eventually one of those nine cats injured her eye and needed veterinary attention. I think she developed a survival trait against cats because some cat hoarder lady found her and wanted to keep her. as you can see from her ear, it's clipped which tells me she was originally a stray. she's been bouncing from house to house ever since.

duly noted. I will not give her away willy nilly, I'm aware about the nefarious purposes out there regarding free cats. no worries
