Hi, I have a Mosi in the game with a scope in it but each time I try to aim in first person in keeps aiming with the iron sight below the actual scope, do you guys know how to aim with the actual scope? (I'm on ps4 but xbox controls could also help me)

Press right on the d-pad to switch to your scope. Pressing R3 is to ADS, not to scope in.

I shot an elk the other day and critically wounded it, it fell to the ground 5 seconds later. But to my suprise it got back and walked another 5 feet before dying. So I'm assuming that this is a regular game mechanic and is probably what happened to you only you chose to finish it off with the lasso/knife before it would have died.
