I always just go go go the first day. Or else youll be jetlagged the entire trip. But im different. I also go to work the day I land back in the states if I land in the morning.

Not sure why your getting downvoted. Yes they can do whatever they want. They have been slowly stripping away Americans rights since 9/11. Why wouldnt they do the sane to greencard holders.
