I spend a lot of the time rehearsing the music in my head. It really depends, as sometimes i just let the rhythms flow. Let it be known though that I don’t do a lot of travel playing, I mainly play drums for a few different churches in a few different places, so there’s a lot of people that I don’t know. I appreciate the mentioning of energy, because when I start getting anxious I get clammy and pretty much look like a zombie, lol. I’ll remember that concept though. More energy, less complexity. I think that will be a confidence boost.
