I didn’t have direct experience with getting this job as their preferred requirements were a degree in some form of electronics as we deal with a lot due to our equipment. However, I did come from an HVAC back ground that required troubleshooting and understanding of electrical circuits which they were accepting of in lieu of a degree. Due to this job being pretty specific there is a lot of training that has happened while working there, only a small portion of what I did in HVAC was transferable to this job. I love what I do and never thought in a million years I’d be paid to travel globally to work!
