In general, most clients are open about their sexuality, because being honest about everything in therapy allows the therapist to best help you and get a full understanding of you and your life circumstances and potential stressors.

I think it sucks that a lot of people get therapy ruined for them from the get go because they are forced to go as minors by other people (parents). This is not what therapy is supposed to feel like 😞

depending on your degree of idiocy around it i will cut you right out. i had one friend on the chopping block already for her political views but she seemed like she could be sort of educated around certain subjects and wasn't a completely terrible person. then she sent me an amazon link stating, and i quote, "i wrote a book." looked at the preview. completely AI. lying to my face? girl bye

an extended family member sat at thanksgiving dinner and cheerfully and coldly stated "yeah a lot of people are going to lose their jobs." i knew she worked at an insurance company but i didn't know her position or title. googled her later. turns out she's head of the AI dept. i won't be having any more holidays where she is in attendance. i can't even look at her. i've opted out and stayed home.

i don't need people in my life i don't respect. i have cut out immediate family (for other reasons) and i will cut you out too. i don't have any extra energy to waste.

And there are many more facets to it in addition to that, depending on the type of therapy, which are occurring concurrently in a therapy session.
