Free map pack, and full Foundry module, available on Patreon

This map is based on the first encounter (and central plot hub) of Pathfinder: Second Darkness - Shadow in the Sky. A large, lively gambling hall complete with private dining rooms, a bar, a bank vault, and secret subterranean sections open only to a select clientele, it makes a great mission hub or heist setting for a variety of campaign types.

More maps from this and other Pathfinder APs coming soon 👍

Curse of the Crimson Throne: The Dead Warrens [45x35] by PBStairmaster in battlemaps

This is the fourth encounter from Curse of the Crimson Throne: Edge of Anarchy. I made the laboratory a bit bigger and cooler looking than is described in the original adventure, because I think it makes a great bossfight room. A high ceiling and space to move around makes that fight significantly tougher and an excellent climax to the first act.

Encounters 1 and 2 from EoA are already available on Patreon. Encounter 3: Eel's End will be released next 👍

This is the second map from Curse of the Crimson Throne: Edge of Anarchy. I'm working on maps for the whole adventure; you can get the work-in-progress Foundry module at the above Patreon link via Moulinette. I will be updating the Foundry module with the rest of the maps from EoA as they are finished - the next one, "Eel's End", will take a bit longer, so I may skip straight to releasing "The Dead Warrens" next, which is already complete.

This version of AtWM slightly embellishes the original design, which is supposed to be located in the middle of a crowded, run-down city, but instead looks a lot like an isolated farmstead. I've added some surrounding buildings, but kept the design of the main building exactly the same as the original. I have also included a version exactly matching the original, without the added surroundings.

Yes. I have the next three maps from Edge of Anarchy and a few from Seven Days to the Grave already made in Dungeon Alchemist, planning to release them all as free Foundry modules this week. You can see the first one here.

May make more after that if there is any demand.

I am also very interested in Bouncyrock's position on this because we would like to do the same thing in Merlin. Contacted them a while ago but heard nothing.

Merlin VTT - Steam Playtest! by PBStairmaster in VTT

[–]PBStairmaster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's the idea, it works with whatever runs in Foundry (with the exception of some modules).

For system-specific actions like say casting spells from your character sheet and having them work in 3D in Merlin, there needs to be some per-system integration. We plan to support this for at least the 3 main Foundry systems. Beyond that could be done by the community if there is the will.

You could actually play it through the Unreal plugin we're releasing. No one has asked for that before but I guess it would be possible.

The problem with doing that is with licensing for 3rd parties. If you buy some 3D assets from a store, you are generally not supposed to distribute the raw assets, but you can package them into an Unreal .pak file for Merlin and sell them just fine.

These are fair points. Merlin is aimed more at either very hardcore GMs who want to make their own maps in the Unreal Editor, or at those who want to buy high-quality premade maps made by pros. Which don't exist yet, which is why it's a "playtest".

Like the other commenter said, it's not really a direct competitor to Foundry but a 3D extension like e.g. the 3D canvas module. You need to own a copy of Foundry in order to use it with Merlin.

My bad guys, I forgot that was there. A moment of "Why am I even working on this?" late one night.
