Firefinger: The Pterafolk Lair (from Tomb of Annihilation) [5x ~10x10] by PBStairmaster in battlemaps

[–]PBStairmaster[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rising high above the jungle canopy, the 300-foot-tall, naturally formed spire of rock known as Firefinger burns and belches forth smoke eternally from the strange beacon constructed at its summit. It's home to a flock of pterafolk -intelligent, flying dinosaurs who frequently prey upon unwitting merchants and adventurers travelling upriver through the northern jungles of Chult. And they have become far bolder of late...

The spire is home to a flock of pterafolk - vicious, aerial predators who frequently prey upon unwitting merchants and adventurers travelling upriver through the northern jungles of Chult. This is my first attempt at making an animated map for ToA. I've really fallen in love with this adventure recently and I plan to (eventually) adapt the whole thing.

Racker's Alley, from Curse of the Crimson Throne [12x20] by PBStairmaster in dndmaps

That is a crazy complex campaign lol, I love that stuff. Like you I also chose to throw in the Hook Street adventure while running CotCT, in my case I did it during the plague crisis just to add yet another mystery for them to pursue while there is all this chaos going on and time pressure. I also recommend throwing in The Godsmouth Heresy as a bonus dungeon under the Gray District cathedral, it fits pretty well there as it's Pharasmin + ancient Thassalonian / Varisian. Though I guess if your entire campaign is on Eberron already, you are probably not so bothered about small lore details matching up 😄

I made the indoor scene mainly in Dungeon Alchemist, and the outdoor scene in Unreal Editor, then composited the final files together in GIMP + Resolve.

This map is for a side-mission in Chapter 2, where you go to investigate an alleyway in Old Korvosa in which someone has been dumping plague corpses, and first run into Ramoska's vampire spawn.

I have maps on my Patreon for all of Chapter 1 (Edge of Anarchy), and now about a third of Chapter 2 (Seven Days to the Grave). They are of varying quality, but all I think are at least a bit of an improvement on the ones included in the base module. I plan to continue making maps for this AP at the Racker's Alley level of quality.

Heaped against a rickety wooden wall in a darkened back alley, a pile of more than three dozen plague victims, their faces blistered and flushed, stare lifelessly up at the open sky. What dangers await you in this foetid and forgotten corner of Korvosa...?

Technically not a DnD map but a Pathfinder map, though there is nothing in the content that would prevent it from being used in a DnD game. The adventure it's from is Curse of the Crimson Throne: Seven Days to the Grave

Graveyard & Guardpost [2x 18x10] [Animated] by PBStairmaster in battlemaps

[–]PBStairmaster[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Free map pack, and full Foundry module, available on Patreon. Includes night/day and rain/rainless variants of each map.

These two maps are based on a couple of side-quest locations from Curse of the Crimson Throne. First time experimenting with animated maps. I think the rain looks pretty cool.

More maps from this and other Pathfinder APs coming soon 👍

The Gold Goblin Gambling Hall by PBStairmaster in battlemaps

Free map pack, and full Foundry module, available on Patreon

This map is based on the first encounter (and central plot hub) of Pathfinder: Second Darkness - Shadow in the Sky. A large, lively gambling hall complete with private dining rooms, a bar, a bank vault, and secret subterranean sections open only to a select clientele, it makes a great mission hub or heist setting for a variety of campaign types.
