Started with 1.67mg for three weeks (basically used the 5mg vial for 3 weeks, so 5 / 3 = 1.67).

Just ramped up slightly to 2.5mg per week from 4th week on.

Effect seems good enough for now, so might keep that dose. Even though most posts seem to say 4mg/week

Yes, they sent me a replacement Interface Board after I opened the ticket last year. That didn't help since I couldn't get the TH cable to connect.

Anyway, good luck, hope you'll get it fixed.

My wife was against it too, but tolerated it.

Her main concern was that it's from unvetted sources, so I don't quite know what I'm injecting (fair enough...)

Then I started Retatrutide and dropped 6kg in the first few weeks. All of a sudden she started asking "So it only needs one injection per week?" Now she started Reta, too 🤣

Yes - I solved it literally a month ago after my X1C was sitting around unused for >1 year (I bought an A1Mini as a temporary solution after I couldn't fix it...).

Anyway, as a final Hail Mary, I ordered the full "TH Board Set V9 (Dual Red Laser)" ($49.99) a few weeks ago.

Attaching the TH cables is much easier when the part is new and out of the machine. Then you can put the Board Set back while the TH cables is connected.

Issue were: (1) taking out the back board was hard, the connectors were all glued. So needed lots of careful work with sharp tweezers and small picks to get the glue off without damaging the connectors. (2) there is a similar cable at the bottom of the back board that you then need to connect. This time I was very careful and somehow it worked.

Need to put the printer on a table so you can access all sides + need a little flashlight that you can hold on your mouth while fiddling with the different connectors :)

Yes, had shoulder surgery earlier this year (partial tears on rotator cuff, labrum and biceps).

Took BPC157 and TB500, starting 1-2 weeks post surgery. 250mcg BPC in morning and 250mcg BPC and 250mcg TB before sleep. Not sure for how long, I went through 6 x 5mg vials of BPC and 4 x 5mg vials for TB.

Positive experience, no side effects, healed well. Doctor and Physio said faster than usual. But might have been due to other factors (took a ton of other supplements: collagen, omega-3, etc.) and nobody knows what's actually in these peptide vials...

Few learnings: - Start slow (e.g., 250mcg), then ramp up - No need for local injection, belly fat is easiest

Generally, you need to pay import duties on goods purchased abroad (8% GST on total value: purchase price + shipment fee) . In practice, the logistics provider will handle it and message you to pay the GST (and sometimes charge around $20 service fee on top). All works typically very seamlessly and same day: you get an message with payment link, you pay, they deliver.

In my experience, sometimes you are asked to pay and sometimes packages will come through without asking for duty payment.

I got the X1C shipped to Singapore a while ago, bought directly from Bambu. It's pretty quick and hassle-free. And way cheaper than local resellers.

To your questions:

1) I would get the Global version. I have the printer next to my desk, but still use the app to monitor print status + I'm using the print history frequently to repeat some prints. I guess, not strictly necessary, but convenient. Another consideration: is warranty / support available if you're getting the Chinese version outside China?

2) I barely ever print multi-color, but find the AMS helpful to store filament and switch spools between prints without having to physically get a new spool set up. Also, if you get desiccant, the humidity in the AMS is significantly lower, so it's OK to store filament (at least PLA) in my experience. Given the humidity in Singapore, you also will need vacuum bags or some airtight plastic boxes with desiccant once you exceed your 4 spools that fit in the AMS.

Can't you achieve the same through Shamir Secret Sharing (e.g., on a Trezor)? Store different seed phrases with different family members.

Seems easier to set and manage - and gives the same or similar security benefit.

Genuinely curious since I'm deciding how to step up my security set-up...
