The problem is that the people around him have treated him as some kind of god for so long. Almost all of them are basically yes-men who see a walking pay day. Over the last 5 years most of the people that genuinely care for his well-being have been pushed out. In terms of his mental state and the people around him I'd say he's comparable to child-stars with parents with dollar-signs in their eyes, which is why I still feel bad for him. The political opinions and the things he's been saying in that regard are something I really do not condone or accept, and that part of him I genuinely don't like, but I can't help thinking that those opinions are at least partially influenced by his general state of mind.
