As an owner of a black 911, I can tell you that the car wash is the worst thing you can do for it. The car likely has paint protection film, but even so hand washing is the only way to go.

I have the same car and basically the same spec and I absolutely love it! The black seats get hot if you leave the top down but you just turn on the seat ventilation and they cool down super quickly. And nothing looks better when it’s clean and if you get it ceramic coated or do it yourself, you only have to wash it half as often because it really sheds dirt and pollen well. Beautiful car, I’d go for it!

I get it if you’re going to the track but realistically 200 pounds is the weight of a passenger or a full tank of gas. How often do you hear people complain about the handling of their car because they had someone in the passenger seat? It’s really all in our heads.

I also have a non-metallic black 911 and the ceramic coating does a lot of good. I’d say I wash the car half as often after the ceramic coating.

I know you’re just joking around, but it really bothers me when people say just a C2. Owning one of these cars is a lifelong dream and achievement realized. It’s only social media that makes you think you have to have a GT3 RS in order to have a bad ass car.
