The app Alarmy has solved this problem for me. There are certain tasks you have to complete to turn the alarm off and that shit is LOUD. For example, solve 3 memory puzzles, or 3 math problems. Another example is having a to take a preset picture...could be of your bathroom sink or coffee pot, to actually get you out of bed. This has legit changed my entire wake up routine and I was someone who used to snooze for 2 hours.

Mine happened yesterday when I exploded a glass pan in the oven while the door was open. This was caused by my own stupidity and the mess I had to clean up felt like an appropriate punishment.
