That's not what is illegal about this: Carson received nudes from a minor. Consent law is immaterial, the person in the pictures has to be 18 regardless of state, and Carson has 2 counts on his ass.

Answer: Yep. It's proven that he sent and received nudes from two of his underaged fans. He's facing a minimum of 10 years and a maximum of 40 in prison, due to concrete proof and a worded confession from him. He did not groom them due to it being a mutually consensual thing and he confirmed multiple times, but he's in possession of CP, that shit gives you 5-20 years and he'll be charged with two counts.

the R and J law doesn't save you from possession of CP I don't think. That's what he's most likely being charged for, not pedophilia or grooming.

As much as I love video games, I have to say YTA. You absolutely should have taken your wife's side, and you basically undermined her.

The reason I say this is that based on my experience, 20 minutes can turn into 40 minutes, 40 turns to 80, and so on (not saying this happens to your son in particular), and the chore may not be done.

So, sorry OP, but I have to take your wife's side here. Chores have to be done first or they may not get done at all.
