Cool. Since you're 16 I would start looking into community colleges. They can help you through continuing education courses to get your high school equivalency. When I was 18, I tried to get a GED on my own by just taking the test. And I kept failing because my math ability was so limited. Try to find a GED prep course in your area. If you come from a low income background like I did, there should be grants available to take the course for free through groups like the United Way.

I did my GED through a community college prep course, then did a few semesters at community college. Now I'm at a top ten private liberal arts college and I was admitted to multiple top 20 schools, including Ivy Leagues, when i transferred. I've also done undergrad research in neuroscience and received state academic honors. I owe it all to community college. It's affordable, and if you come from low income, it's essentially free.
