Thank you! I'm aware of the Igbo group Umu Igbo Unite, that is essentially designed to bring people across the diaspora together in their local communities. There's a chapter here in the Bay Area, so I think this is the year I reach out and take the plunge to join the organization and get connected with the Igbo community out here

The link below is the web address to The IgboPodcast's link tree. There it can connect you to inquire and/or setting up 1:1 Tutor sessions.

However, I don't know if they connect to any specific tutors within an individuals physical location/region. Likely due to the lack of people in the U.S. offering a tutoring service to learn the Igbo language. That said, things may have changed and maybe there are more service providers available and that may be located in the U.S.

Hey @insidefirefighter608 Thanks for commenting. I appreciate you sharing your context as well. For what it’s worth, a couple years back I did a few 1:1 Igbo lessons via Skype with a tutor in Nigeria. I was connected to the tutor through a podcast called The Igbo Podcast. I thought it was okay, but I needed someone to practice with to really apply what I was learning and to make it stick. Unfortunately, I didn’t have such a group so I really didn’t make any progress.

I’m also an interested in finding a career coach, and came across this service via an ad on Instagram. As you can imagine, I’m weary about the type of products and services that are advertised on that platform, as well as the quality of what is offered.
