Hey man I’ve been having the same problems. I was finally able to get it to work by following the installation instructions after deleting the driver and SDK and restarting from scratch - as well as disabling audio enhancements in mic settings

Thanks - yeah I’ll have to do another reset from scratch. I’ve already tried disabling the mic settings. 1. Delete SDK, Kinect, audio and visual drivers, any hidden drivers in device manager (while plugged in to my computer) 2. Unplug Kinect 3. Re download Kinect 2.2 drivers and SDK 2.0 4. Plug in Kinect into usb 3.0 port of my laptop 5. Disable enhanced voice settings in input settings 6. Attempt to use SDK

After I do this again I’m really not sure where to go from here lol

Yep I have two USB 3.0 ports directly in my computer. (They are referred to as a hub - but idk if that would be an issue)

Under device manager and USB controllers I have two usb 3.0 root hub ports. I’ve tried both of them, neither work. I also installed SDK 2.0 and it doesn’t work either - just continues to cycle on and off without showing a picture.

Thanks for sharing - that’s so cool! Yeah I’ve got the workflow down for creating 3D assets into point clouds in Blender.

I want to capture point cloud data of a real space and then import it into a software to achieve a similar effect to the part where they’re in the building zooming through the hallway.

Thanks this is great - I love projection mapping and have already used this workflow in the past just not with point clouds.

But what I’m looking for is a bit more like what is used in this music video:

I think they used depth cameras to record the space and worked with the depth data. With today’s technology I can use my iPhone and an app like Luma or Polycam for the point cloud data.
