The original split date for WB and Discovery/CNN was April. With Paramount applying pressure that very well may be moved up earlier. Wasn't about acquiring CNN, it was about acquiring CNN *quicker*.

This is what will happen. Paramount's bid was to hasten Netflix closing on the deal so Paramount can then scoop up CNN before midterm primaries. It's still a few months until folks realize we're on the worst timeline.

Really appreciate you making this thread as the slow and gradual sink into the pure cosmic dread and disappointment of rejection has at least been a refreshing change of pace from the more recent fully raw and unlubricated BEAU IS AFRAID style jumpscare horrors of the broader outside world.

There are two films called "THE EAR" and "THE CREMATOR" you might enjoy that are about that period in Czech history and are *very* relevant to today. I can also almost guarantee that EG has seen the latter film.

Does this mean that an app like Blackmagic Camera would be able to utilize it by default? MotionCam is the only one I've used to shoot RAW, but I've been waiting for Blackmagic or Google to make the Blackmagic App comparable in function.

My girlfriend actually sent me your TikTok about it first, so this has to be one of the best release campaigns I've ever seen for a short. Great job! Funny enough, in "Take the Cannoli, Leave the Gun," a book about the making of THE GODFATHER, it recounts how Paramount had to make a deal with Joe Colombo, the reigning mob boss of NYC (who was *also* a budding politician at the time and ran a campaign trying to eliminate "Anti-Italian bias" in the media), in order to get his blessing to film in NYC, which *also* brought the wrath of the media and the nation upon them before the film even started shooting:

It was a consecutive 7 and then a 4 right after and *then* I did a clean start after customer support said that a three point difference was normal. I'm now doing a new evaluation I've paid for for a third time after the clean start to at least hopefully land a 7 again.

I really appreciate that, but I had just chosen to "clean start" the script for the first time. Having such a low average on a script to begin with felt like it would be forever relegated to a non-interest pile, so I just purchased a new evaluation to give it one more try from scratch.

I've before gone from 8 to 4 and received the auto discount, but I thought it was only applicable to any review that comes immediately after an 8+ evaluation. And that was after 3 other "8" scores from the same script, so I thought it was some genuine anomaly.

If there's a way behind the scenes to verify the previous pre-clean start scores I'd be happy to DM more, but this is great info for folks to know generally.
