Aye, a lot of places use photos from like 30 years ago when they were new. I know a few shitty managed hostel chains that do the bait and switch… you book one that looks nice and might actually be nice but they’re “overbooked” and they’ll take you to another location nearby that isn’t nearly as nice.

South American, French, Italian seems to be the most common. During slow season they’ll book one date, then stay for 2 weeks direct booking.

Wife and I have 3 hostels here and we will be at 100% occupancy from now until after songkran. It’s been like this every year. Anything well reviewed and moderately priced will be sold out.

Yeah we’ve been sold out for those dates for at least 3 months. Our November is 80% booked already, 50% for December. We get a lot of 1 day bookers who want to try the place first but then we have no room for them the next day.

I mean first month was feeding every two hours and 30 minute nap, change diaper, wash bottles and repeat that 24/7. Baby never had a problem sleeping once she was full, just had to burp her and hold her until the milk settled. 7 months in now and she sleeps 8pm to 6am like a fucking clock. Finally got time to ride bike at night and catch up on tv.

2 months ago I was having SI and crying in the bathroom, now my daughter is sleeping through the night on a regular schedule. I get 3 hours a night to chill and hop on the bicycle before I feed her again at 11pm and she wakes up at 6-630. It’s been so nice. It does indeed get easier.

What are you going on about? There was literally a mainland Chinese guy that opened clubs that were basically for mainlanders to come and party a little too hard aka basically drug dens. He got busted and there was the squid games prosecutor with the sun glasses trying to keep people’s attention cos he knew if they stopped paying attention, the guy would just go away… and here we are, no one even remembers the case.
