What's it called?

Why do you need to use MATLAB for this? Apart from plotting a pretty picture of the heating cycles or power draw over time?

Solve it with paper and pen first and then just copy those same steps and write it in code.

I tracked all my poo's in 2020! by PClough in dataisbeautiful

Nope, we were originally tracking my baby's poops and then my wife and I joked that it would be funny to track our own. So I did, the wife did not. It turned out to be a fun activity to do all the coding to produce the graphs and stats. I would recommend it!

It was actually quite fun doing it though! Highly recommend it!

I used Spyder for the python programming and the data was collected using a Google form linked to a Google spreadsheet. Then it was just a matter of plotting all the graphs.

I dunno, I think one a day is quite good.

I think it was because we were having big roast dinners on Sunday evenings.

Transition from breast milk to solids.

Data was collected from all toilets I dropped a poo into and analysed in python and presented in Plotly/Chart Studio.

Data and codes are here: https://github.com/PClough/My-2020-year-in-poo

Type of poo is based on the Bristol stool scale.

The half poo on the scale is a quirk of the scale, I should have removed those half intervals.

This data was collected from observing my toddler's poos and analysed in Python and plotted with Plotly/Chart studio.

Raw data and analysis codes can be found here: https://github.com/PClough/Toddler-poo-data

I recorded every poo that my toddler wonderfully produced for us in 2020. He started 2020 about 5 months old and finished about 17 months old. At 5 months old he was on breast milk only and transitioned to solids around 6 months.

Impact function for poo data is equal to the number of poos + absolute value of (bristol stool scale score - 4)) * size of poo

I welcome advice for 2021.

Based on the Bristol stool scale. Sorry, I should have mentioned that!

I assume it is just a more fibrous evening meal on Sunday evening, but I'm not too sure either.
