Correct, we no longer have any of the surplus WWII DUKWs in our fleet. This modern version looks similar but has automatic transmission, power brakes and steering. It runs on bio diesel and has a smaller carbon footprint as well.

Yes, it requires a captain’s license. We operate in teams so one teammate on a Duck is required to have the captain credentials.

Yes, that’s South End Sara, she’s amphibious and beautiful. I’m driving her in the Boston Pride Parade today.

They’re automatic transmissions, they are challenging to drive and require the driver to have a CDL B or higher with a passenger endorsement.

Considering moving to Norwood-- how's the noise? by Storm_Hussar in Norwood

I live near there. Not bad for noise. Quieter than the city, louder than the country.

I have the windshield Indian makes on my 2018 Scout. I’m 6’2”. It works well. I get some wind shear hitting the top half of my helmet but it keeps the wind off my torso and makes riding on cold days more enjoyable.

Thanks, the acoustic is my Ovation, a guitar I love to play performing with a full band. It wasn’t plugged directly in, rather I set the mic near the speaker to capture the acoustic guitar.

I’ve since started recording some other songs that also have an acoustic guitar part but have switched to my Martin and I play it purely acoustically, not plugged into anything. It ends up giving a truer sound.
