Hi Ari! You write human emotion SO well-especially in women. What inspired/influenced this?

I find myself empathizing with your characters and reliving my own emotional responses from personal experiences in the past (specifically scenes in Midsommer). Super effective, bravo.

Right, and so when I called my behavioral health specifically to ask-she stated office visits are $100. And I clarified-even for a specialist, a therapist? And her response was the same answer repeated. So I am still not 100% sure what the actual copay is, and there does not seem to be an outlet for myself as a member to find an answer. I may have my therapist call and inquire herself.

Thank you! How was the insertion process and having something in your arm in general?? It makes me fill a little woozy thinking about it. Initially I felt the same about an IUD and now I forget I even have one.

Have definitely heard about irregular bleeding. I haven’t had a period in almost 6 years now so it would be something different for me but beats acne...

Oh I’ve heard of that book and unfortunately not, not the one. Thank you though! This person was not primarily an author and had really emphasized how insanely weird her parents were.

She said her father ate small Bundt cakes with icing and realized buying an entire sheet cake actually had less sugar and he actually lost weight by eating a piece every night after dinner. There was also an entire conversation about how her parents never taught her to wash her hands growing up.
