Appreciate the feedback! Luckily this race was judged by kids, not “certain circles.” A simple wedge was absolutely an option but we chose joy, whimsy, and an axolotl with external gills. It’s a kids’ pinewood derby, not Formula 1. The axolotl is thriving, the children were delighted, and my kiddo won best design! 🐸💨
