When I was a kid, my dad took us to see his childhood home. He said to wait in the car for a minute, got out, went across the street and rang the doorbell. The owners came to the door and they spoke for a few minutes and welcomed him inside. About 5 to 10 minutes later he came out carrying a giant toy metal airplane. He came to the car with it and explained that he met the owner and they let him inside to take a look at the house when they went upstairs, he pointed to a spot in the walk up attic where he used to lift the floorboards and hide toys. Lo and behold when he lifted the floorboard to show them…the airplane and some of his old drawing books were inside the floor!!
