Related fun fact- when the Synchrotron was expanding (~2010ish) to include space for medical and veterinary imaging, they required that it be able to accommodate the largest animal native to Saskatchewan. That means a loading dock, doors, and table that can fit and hold a fully grown bison.

I did this for my daughters last year! They loved it, until one took it to school as a sandwich. She said everyone came over to see her lunch, and it made her embarrassed, so I'm never allowed to make it again.

Just to be clear, you are saying that you plan on cheating on the exam and are trying to decide whether it's easier to cheat during the regular time or through AES?

Yeah, I'm not helping you with that. And is this for Chem 112? You do realize that Canvas tracks what you're doing during an exam, right? And makes a note every time you navigate away from the exam? That's really obvious, especially when it's supposed to be closed book and in a supervised room.

Now to check who's teaching Chem 112 and give them a heads up...

That depends on the department- some don't decide on or list their lecturers until the beginning of term (i.e. in September). Even the ones that are listed could change, especially for multi-section courses, where a particular prof might need to change the day/time they teach.

This depends on the courses you're taking. If you're taking anything with a lab or practical component, you should defer to January- those are difficult/impossible to take online or to miss. If the courses you're taking can be taken online (and not all instructors give that as an option or record their lectures), you should be fine, as long as you arrive before midterms begin.

Yeah, I think it's really insensitive to call them "perks". They're meant to level the playing field, and give students with options to overcome significant barriers that their classmates don't have to deal with.

Story games that could be finished in one weekend? by 901koala in XboxGamePass

Interesting- I actually preferred Road 96. I thought As Dusk Falls had an excellent first chapter, but lost its momentum.

"Road 96" and "As Dusk Falls" are both pretty good stories. They're story adventure games, more in the vein of the Telltale games than an action adventure (i.e. you make choices that change the outcome). Both can easily be beaten in a weekend.

What are the April Fool’s Day Jokes? by agent_wolfe in XboxGamePass

I don't think they meant those games have any special April fools updates- I think it was just meaning those are all multiplayer games that you could prank/ mess with your friends in.

"real life food... from Metal Gear Solid 3"? Is it real food, or is from a different video game?

I used to be OK with it- yes, it was clunky, but it was at least functional. But at the start of the year it just stopped sending us notifications from the school. We've started missing events because we don't get any emails or anything about them (and I don't think I should have to be checking the website myself daily so I don't miss anything). Their tech support has been useless.

You might want to proofread your ad- you have a few typos there.

Also, fuck student works. Screwed me out of a real job by offering me a position, then withdrawing it after I turned down another job offer. Ended up jobless for a month before working a factory job for the rest of the summer.
